First, the Confederate flag was banned, now, how about films that show images of it?
Its been a busy week for political correctness, where anyone with a complaint against anything is taking advantage of shifting winds and pushing for an outright ban.
This afternoon, New York Post film critic Lou Lumenick added his target to the list, Gone with the Wind, labeling it insidious. He believes it should be relegated to museums as opposed to continued regular showings elsewhere.

It warnt the groundingthat didnt keep us back but a little. We blowed out a cylinder-head.
Good gracious! anybody hurt?
No maam. Killed a nigger.
Well, its lucky; because sometimes people do get hurt."
But we won't have to. Because anybody too stupid to understand what Mark Twain is trying to illustrate with that exchange is probably too stupid to read.
During the thirties and forties there were many Hollywood films with a decidedly sympathetic view of communism. Should we ban those?
I actually don't believe in banning them even though I beieve communism is the greatest evil ever created by man. And for the record as far as GWTW, I liked the book but not the movie. Couldn't stay awake through the latter.
Thank you, haven’t seen that is many years.
Yup. The leftard's cultural revolution coming to a town near you.
Im ashamed that I live on the south side of town. ==

Mass hysteria and madness are spreading around the country. Without using their reasoning powers, they jump on the bandwagon and follow the insane crowd.
They lack the ability to examine their actions and ask if they are acting like fools.
Get rid of everything in existence...the DIMocRAT way. After all, they love abortion, murdering Veterans through neglect, withholding medical procedures from the elderly and so forth.
Well, at least they still play it on the Splash Mountain ride. One of the best parts of the ride as a matter of fact.
I went to Disneyland in January for the first time since I was really little. Splash Mountain was closed for renovations. :’( So was the Haunted House. Small World was still Christmas-y. It was a pretty disappointing trip.

Tet68.2015.
Let’s start with movie critics, please!
That’s too bad! We went back in November. I kid you not, we rode Splash Mountain six times in a row, didn’t even have to get off of the thing because the Fantasmic show was running at the same time. The guys running the ride just asked us over and over if we wanted to go again (didn’t know they allowed that at DL). It was great! Got a fantastic view of the fireworks!
When I worked up north in Boston all I ever heard about he south was jokes and bigotry. The in the next breath they would say how the south was still fighting.
Weird how it’s all the northern elitist media types pushing this and telling southerners what is wrong to fly or wear.
No it is the northern elitist and ignorant which are still fighting the war.
If recognizing the realities of life back in the 1800s is racism so severe that it must be censored, then every school history book needs to be erased. Every college course in the history department must be banned.
Awesome! :) Maybe I’ll go back someday. Glad you had fun.
