First, the Confederate flag was banned, now, how about films that show images of it?
Its been a busy week for political correctness, where anyone with a complaint against anything is taking advantage of shifting winds and pushing for an outright ban.
This afternoon, New York Post film critic Lou Lumenick added his target to the list, Gone with the Wind, labeling it insidious. He believes it should be relegated to museums as opposed to continued regular showings elsewhere.

The only solution is to euthanize everyone South of the Mason-Dixon. Otherwise would be to condone racism.
Is “Song of the South” still banned in the US?
Problem is there are more racists in Boston than there are in Birmingham.
Pray America is waking
yes and also tells men not to give a dam =)
Ban Roots while your at it. And 12 years as a slave
I hate New York more every day.
Well, mr. Critic...if you don’t like the book/movie...don’t read/watch the damn thing...problem solved.
I think Disney still bans Song of the South in America. Locked up in the Disney vault.
How ironic that Disney self censors a great old.movie of theirs. They could make a great deal.of money selling it on DVD or internet streaming.
Ve shall burn zee books and moofies and purify zee Progressive Fodder Land!

Abe Lincoln was also a Bigot. He had his military band play Dixie right after Battle Hymn of the Republic.. Gone with the Wind is a classic. I am so SICK I can hardly listen to the news. I have tears in my eyes right now.
First read it when I was 11. It taught me a lot about life. It’s a good book that I have a love/hate relationship with, and there is no way it should be “done away with”. When does the book burning start, I wonder.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6bWyhj7siEY I can at least listen to this song....
I’m ashamed that I live on the south side of town.
Better blast Jefferson and Washington off of Mount Rushmore, get rid of your $1 bills, $2 bills, quarters and nickels, yank down the Washington Monument and Jefferson Memorial, rename a whole bunch of states, cities, towns, counties, roads, streets, avenues, schools, etc etc etc.
Perhaps the New York Post should “go the way of the Confederate flag”.
