Matthew 5:9 says “Blessed are the peacemakers” and it would appear Pastor Clementa Pinckney was definitely one of those.
While the mainstream media is decrying the fact that the Charleston shooting victim’s body was carried past a Confederate flag today, the good pastor may not have found it all that offensive.
In 2000, during his first term in the South Carolina State Senate, Pinckney actually voted in favor of H5028, the May 2000 compromise which placed the flag at its current location.
H5028 related to THE PERMANENT PLACEMENT OF THE UNITED STATES FLAG, THE SOUTH CAROLINA STATE FLAG, AND THE SOUTH CAROLINA INFANTRY BATTLE FLAG OF THE CONFEDERATE STATES OF AMERICA

This and the thread about a black being the first slave owner in the US might be the reason anti-flag articles are being taken down on the internet. I only found 2 articles on the yahoo home page where yesterday it was being over run by them.

Ask the Left: Are you going to ban everything a lunatic likes or believes in, even if what he thinks the thing stands for is pure delusion, the twisted imaginings of a ranting madman? If so, prepare for some of your most cherished symbols, institutions and traditions to be banned as well.

I sometimes imagine a "news producer" sitting in the White House at a huge console like a music producer's at a recording studio, running the slide switches up and down and bringing in other "themes" and "memes" in order to create his daily screeds for distribution to the JournoList as "Talking Points" ..... and varying the themes to fatigue his enemies with something like metal fatigue, when you bend a strip of metal back and forth until it breaks.
