Days before the Supreme Court could strip it of a central component, there is still no "plan B" for Obamacare.
Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Burwell warned the Obama administration will be unable to cover the millions of Americans who could lose their medical insurance if the Supreme Court decides to unravel much of the Affordable Care Act.
"We don't believe there is an administration solution that would undo all of that damage," Burwell said about the looming Supreme Court ruling in an exclusive interview with CNN.
The court could rule as early as Monday in the health care case. They are expected to hand down a decision by the end of the month.
HHS officials worry most Americans are unaware of the potential chaos at stake should the justices decide against the administration in King versus Burwell, the latest legal challenge to the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare.

As we all know, the REAL result will be that people will FINALLY begin to realize what this really costs, and most WON'T PAY.
The media, in lockstep with the Democrats, will, of course, blame those meany Republicans "WANT THE POOR/OLD PEOPLE TO DIE!!"
A Christian approach to healthcare.

I pay $405/mo for my family.
Many people I know use this and have been very pleased with it. I am very pleased with how this works!
Good, let those a-holes go down in flames.
My worry is that the insurance companies, by way of the deal they cut with the Administration, have figured all of these “customers at gun-point” into their earnings forecasts. They’re not going just going to say “oops, guess we better revise downward”, they’re going to jack up everybody’s rates to make up the shortfall.
Like I'm not paying now????????................
One would think the leftists in power would like it being gutted even more. They can then throw several billion more dollars down a rat hole with no results.
I’ve got a plan: GUT the unconstitutional HHS!!!
We have a Central Bank that can print all the money it wants, distributed through Wall Street, to monetize all the government debt necessary to keep Obamacare and every other social engineering scheme afloat.
SCOTUS will change nothing.
Either way it’s a successful battle in Bammy’s war on America.
I believe we are rapidly entering Phase 2 of Obamacare already. There have already been stories about rate increases, absurd deductibles, etc. This will be blamed on greedy doctors and greedy insurance companies...and Republicans. As Phase 2 develops, there will be legislative fights about funding Obamacare even more, to make up for the shortfalls that are already happening. This will be done in the form of offering temporary matching funds to states that participate...and the left will be able to paint a handful of Republican governor holdouts as wanna be baby killers.
Eventually the left will give an ‘out’, in the form of single payer - Phase 3.
Although I absolutely want the court to gut Obamacare, I know it will accelerate Phase 2 - and GOP elected officials need to have the fortitude to take the oncoming onslaught of accusations...and dish it right back.
CNN, of course, is running a vid with sob-stories
*************
Soon to be followed by euphoric stories about the permanence of Obamacare. The fix is in.
The insurance company problem is their investments run short because of the interest rates.
The Federal government gets a piece of every contract.
ObamaCARE: Planned in a prison, grubered in by Romney,
Designed to give NO support for heathcare givers,
and with planned destruction of excellent medical
and surgical care ... except for Obama and his EXEMPT.
I have a sneaking suspicion this will not be an issue for HHS.
Perhaps we can try free market capitalism approach to health insurance with VERY limited government regulations. Or has our nation jumped the shark to full-blown communism.
> Days before the Supreme Court could strip it of a central component...
A LIE.
Subsidies for purchases through an exchange established by the Federal government are not within the statute.
