Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton characterized the United States as racist and lamented what she described as a troubling increase in racial segregation in modern-day America in a speech on Saturday. What do you think?
As a mother, a grandmother, and a human being, my heart is bursting for the people of Charleston, Clinton said in remarks delivered at the 83rd Annual Meeting of the United States Conference of Mayors, currently happening in San Francisco. What do you think?
Once again, racist rhetoric has metastasized into racist violence, she said, referring to the acts of Dylann Roof, the 21-year-old man who has reportedly confessed to to murdering nine people at a black church in Charleston, S.C. on Wednesday. What do you think?
In America today, blacks are nearly three times as likely as whites to be denied a mortgage. Our schools are more segregated than they were in the 1960s, Clinton said. What do you think?
We must address these issues as a nation, and we must also address them as individuals, the Democrat insisted. Cruel jokes cant go unchallenged, offhand comments about not wanting those people in the neighborhood cant be ignored, and news reports about poverty and crime and discrimination cant just evoke our sympathy even empathy they must also spur us to action and prompt us to question our own assumptions and privilege. What do you think?
Clintons criticism of white Americans for privilege and not wanting those people in the neighborhood stands in stark contrast to the personal decisions she has made for herself and her family. What do you think?

If America is a racist country then why does she want to be it’s next president? Wouldn’t that make her a racist too?
And that 1.9% are all the “lawn jockeys” like the one on her front lawn.
Cleo was a Basset Hound, if I remember correctly.
Hillary just threw a phonebook in my driveway!
“”Once again, racist rhetoric””
For instance, Hillary? Please tell us what rhetoric has spawned the recent violence, you poor excuse for a human being?
Can’t improve on your use of adjectives in your post and your questions all hit home or at least they should!
"Common scold", an interesting phrase. I looked it up, and it turns out New Jersey was prosecuting people for that offense as late as 1972.
It's a shame NJ couldn't have gotten their hands on Hillary before that date. It would have made her criminal record even more colorful than it already is.
The People's Choice is an American television sitcom that aired on NBC from 1955 to 1958. It was primarily sponsored by The Borden Company.
It stars Jackie Cooper as Socrates "Sock" Miller, who is an ex-Marine and a young politician living in fictitious New City, California. Sock has a basset hound named "Cleo", whose thoughts (voiced by Mary Jane Croft), baleful observations of Sock's dilemmas, are recorded on the soundtrack for the viewers' amusement. The real name of the dog that played Cleo was "Bernadette". Much of Cleo's dialog consists of wisecracks. The popularity of the basset hound breed increased markedly with the run of the show.
I do remember Cleo the dog. in many ways she was the star of the show. I remember several times laughing so hard I had to hold my sides.
Worked twice with the race card; they’ll try it now with the gender card. She’ll keep the abortion mills humming, and that is what both her & Obama are pushed to do.
She fakes an accent, why not this?
