The Texas senator blew away the crowd of conservatives with a finely tuned speech on religious liberty.

With all due respect, mrs ippi did not attack Toast Cruz.
She asked a question.
I’m all for religious liberty, but what good is religious liberty if this country lacks the economic liberty(dubious trade agreements) and national sovereignty(failure to enforce immigration laws) in order to thrive successfully?
I suppose you would.
The only good reason to respond to these trolls is to show the FR rank & file that the true conservatives are still a force to be reckoned with.
Ted is winning big in the grassroots heart land. The MSM is constantly burying news of Ted’s success at winning hearts and minds of Americans. They don’t have the power to shape opinion like they used to have.
The worst part of his Trade support was that he acted like every other RINO and Dem, didn’t talk to the people to see how we felt, just assumed he’s smarter and knows better.
Personally, I’m sick of that crap. Even if we were really stupid and only wanted them to put this bill on hold because Obama scared the living shit out of us over the last 7 years, Cruz should have said ok, I hear you.
Is there any candidate who cares what the people think?
Ted most certainly DID TALK TO PEOPLE and continues to talk to people.
The people he is talking to are his Texan constituents, the people he made promises to and he is keeping his promises.
Don’t you know that Cruz is a traitorist, trilateral, CFR, NWO, satanist, Goldman Sachs, Bilderberg, shape shifting reptilian? No? well there will be some FReepers along shortly to explain it to you.
Looks like our Teddy did well today.
There are two full days left of the Faith & Freedom Coalition’s annual Washington conference.
But Ted Cruz already won it on Thursday.
The Texas senator measurably outperformed his two Senate GOP colleagues, Marco Rubio and Rand Paul, with a tightly woven sermon on religious liberty delivered with vigor and conviction. He was rewarded with the most frequent and loudest applause and the highest praise from the gathering of social conservatives at the Omni Shoreham Hotel.
Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and Texas Gov. Rick Perry, right, speak to the media during a press conference at the front gate of Fort Hood on April 4, 2014 in Fort Hood, Texas.
It wasn’t just the dramatic delivery that separated him on the dais, though it was his smartly tailored speech that began with a silent prayer for the victims of the mass church shooting in Charleston, South Carolina, and ended with a spontaneous leap off the stage into the center of the ballroom audience, where he was swarmed like a rock star.
She’s a Paulbot. Honestly, though, her posts are usually so littered with misspellings that I have a problem making out WHAT she is saying.
You get what you pay for.
Post #15 of this thread is very clear and easy to read.
TROLL.
Ted most certainly DID TALK TO PEOPLE and continues to talk to people.
The people he is talking to are his Texan constituents, the people he made promises to and he is keeping his promises.
Really? Is the Cruz campaign still saying that TPP is “not complete” even after the Australian trade commissioner was quoted as saying it was finished but for a week of negotiations? Is that the kind of talk you are refering to?
I believe Cruz has been talking. The problem is his “talk” has been full of half truths and dissembling trying to excuse his enabling and defacto support of Obamatrade. It’s a sad day when Ted Cruz stands with Barack Obama and against Main Street USA. But it is what it is.
I like Cruz, still like Cruz though I disagree with his vote on trade. That being said,,we cannot and must not think if we win the ‘heartland’ we win the election. We need to be taking it to the dense population centers of the cities, the big cities. The heartland is very special, no doubt. However, Dems have a lot of the larger cities locked up and we need to change that. Which GOP candidate has pumped the most money into the big cities? Which GOP candidate may actually get the ear of some in those cities and get their attention? It’s not Cruz,,sorry. It’s not Cruz. I would be very happy with Cruz as POTUS, or even in the SCOTUS, but we need something even more fresh that resonates beyond our comfort zone.
And we shouldn’t be tearing each other apart to make it happen.
Wait, how could this be?
I thought Cruz was done, finished?!
LOL...
Wow, yep, Ted is finished.
You know something...I can at least say that our candidate didn’t PAY to have people attend his rally.
People come in DROVES to hear Cruz...and he doesn’t even pay them!
Odd indeed.
Wow, back to toast. BTW, did you like 2nd Vets toast post on your boy Ran’ds page?
BTW, didn’t see you commenting on this 2nd Amendment comments. Interesting.
Does Cruz scare you that much? LOL.
Yes, I am sure he’d like to know what exactly TTP is too....LMAO. Can’t even troll correctly!
Wow...the ignorance on this page is staggering.
Which candidate has pumped the most money into the cities? Likely, not many as none have raised that much money (Cruz and Bush aside).
You obviously also missed that one candidate (I won’t help you with his name, but he is from TX), was in Michigan and Boston recently. New York City for a fundraiser. California...
Sounds to me like someone is reaching into the cities. Someone who is so UNFRESH, he is raking in the votes and the cash.
