A Florida woman saved herself from being raped after she pulled a razor from her bra and slashed her attackers throat.
According to the woman, Kenneth Taylor approached her from a store and the two began to chat. As they walked toward an empty lot, Taylor reportedly pushed the woman to the ground and hit her several times in the face.
Luckily, the woman managed to pull a razor from her bra and slice Taylors throat. When Taylor fled from the scene, the woman called police to the intersection of North 13th Street and Avenue G in Fort Pierce.
Taylor left a backpack at the scene, which contained a Taco Bell cap that led police to a local Taco Bell restaurant. After police talked with the stores manager and described Taylor, the manager helped identify the attacker.
Taylor was later arrested. He was charged with kidnapping and unlawful detention.
The victim carries a razor (presumably straight edge) in her bra?????
He is more than a loser, he is the lowest form of scum.
I seem to recall that there was a time when ladies would store broken glass in an area considered private and open to friends only.
Would imagine a pretty decent defensive weapon would be for a woman to have some sort of guillotine attached to her upper body to welcome ‘unwelcomed’ intruders.
Course the courts would probably say she had put to much thought into prospective intruders.
Right after I hit send I remembered where I had heard such an outlandish plan.
During the crusades The King went off to battle but didn’t ‘trust’ the queen so he rigged her ‘C Belt’ to capture ‘friends’ of queenie.
When said King returned he had all the Palace Guard drop trou and lo and behold, only Ivanhoe had all his body parts in tact.
King ordered the execution of the Guards and was congratulating IVEY and said “Congratulations! You are now Chief Guard”. The tonguless Ivanhoe just ‘mumbled’ a few unintelligible words.
King decided it was cheaper and less stressful to ‘neuter’ the future Palace Guards.
My sister used to carry her bobby sox in her bra but she never thought about dad's razor. Sounds a bit "ethnic" to me.
I’m glad she saved herself, but why was she going toward an “empty lot” with the perp?
... ladies would store broken glass in an area considered private....

Care to elaborate on how a woman could “store” the broken lass without injuring herself in the process? Methinks thou hast read too many silly novels.
Alas, you surely are correct....as quick as I hit send for #44, it dawned on me so swiftly, I was able to ‘explain’ in #45......
That is my story and I am sticking with it....<: <: <:
She “stood her ground” and the slashed perp was black?
What’s the NAACP position on this matter?
Why would anyone ever answer that query truthfully?
I carried my twin razor edged knuckle blades in a pretty belt buckle, but that was over 30 years ago.
I think “they” made those fashionable knife accessories illegal...
A classic straight razor would a bit difficult to deploy under pressure and be a bit to big. The single edge blade like what is used in a window scraper is a better option as is a single edge like the old injector blades used. They are also easy to dispose of.
I got that variant from a Cuban guy in the service. Nice fellow albeit a bit strange. He hated communists with a passion and had extensive knowledge of explosives. Escaped when Castro took over. I always suspected he was involved in anti-Castro activities “ala’ the “Company” but never could prove it.
I find the Spyderco Civilian to be a very good SD knife:
Another poster says the woman was also black; the NAACP has no comment.
Fort Pierce is a predominately black city that resembles a crap ass war zone.
Also lots of Haitian and centralAmericans.
With a very nice inlet for offshore fishing.
broken lass = broken glass
Yipes!
