I remember hearing that Rosa Parks was a Republican long ago, but all I can find about her political activity is Black radicalism (Jon Conyers, Black Panthers) so I guess that wasn’t true.

This reminds of the Boy Scouts 11th hour flip-flop on gay scouts. They spent months "studying" the issue then finally announced that as a result of their "study", they had determined to keep their current policy in place. Then a few months later, out of the blue, they abruptly announced they were going to have "openly gay scouts".

Now comes the currency thing where liberals spent months demanding a "woman on the $20", even announcing Harriet Tubman as the "winner" in an online poll (of course the poll didn't include any "Keep Jackson on the $20") option, but the fedgov makes no announcement that they're going to change the $20 after all that PR dies down. They a month or two later, they make an abrupt announcement that they're putting a woman on the $10.
