Could be trouble. Weren't there, aren't there, some folks who were looking to have the first female appear on a $20? Does this devalue women? Kinda like sayin' you want $20 but here's a $10. Purty sure somebody's gonna whine.

The next president (Cruz) can easily put a stop to this nonsense.

Jack Lew, Treasury secretary, said by 2020, the U.S. $10 bill will feature the face of a female, in addition to that of Alexander Hamilton. Mrs. Hamilton?

I was hoping they would switch to Loony Tunes cartoon characters. Yosemite Sam and Foghorn Leghorn.

There’s that “inclusive” bs word again. Lena Dunham? That lady from the Clarence Thomas debacle? Gabby Giffords?

It'a worse than that. Hamilton wasn't a President. Besides Franklin on the $100, he's the only non-president on paper currency. So women weren't good enough to stand equal with a president on our money in circulation today!

Which black woman will it be?
To: rktman
Let's face it. It's all about black. The same crap that darkened DC with the statue of MLK. The same cr** that made MLK day.
Bet the sink that it will be a black woman. What blacks forget, is that it was the white support group that made everything happen.
Don't forget that different groups have different motives, too.

When I first heard they wanted new faces for our currency, my first thought was that there is indeed an existing imbalance, and to correct it we should have at least one bill with the portrait of an
anti-federalist—like Patrick Henry.
If they want a woman, there's Mercy Otis Warren, who was said to be the premiere anti-federalist woman of the period and wrote under the pseudonym "A Columbian Patriot."
I still have a Dutch 20 guilder note somewhere that I got when vacationing in Europe. It has a portrait of Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck, who is sort of their national composer. I always thought it was pretty cool that they had musicians and artists instead of politicians on their money.
