HOUSTON, Texas — U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, issued the following statement following Donald Trump’s announcement that he will seek the 2016 Republican nomination for President of the United States:
“I’m pleased to welcome Donald Trump into the race for the 2016 Republican nomination for President of the United States. His experience as a successful businessman and job creator will prove crucial to ensuring the eventual GOP nominee is not only well-equipped to defeat Hillary Clinton in November, but also to make America great again.”
Classy.
Cruz/Trump 2016.
Mr. Cruz is a cut above, and things like this prove it.
....Ted Cruz regarding Trump’s anoucement:
Im pleased to welcome Donald Trump into the race for the 2016 Republican nomination for President of the United States. ...His experience as a successful businessman and job creator will prove crucial to ensuring the eventual GOP nominee is not only well-equipped to defeat Hillary Clinton in November, but also to make America great again.
You are right...Cruz is a class act.
He is being polite.
He always is.
It appears that being rude sometimes is more fun for some people.
You stole my thunder.
Cruz is in a class all to himself.
I have been in business for myself since my early 20’s over 30 years now.
I really like Trump. I understand him.
As usual, Cruz says exactly the right thing.
And if Sean Hannity doesn't stop promoting Jeb Bush I'll be done with him forever.
Whatchoo talkin’ ‘bout, Willis?
He sure knows how to collect government subsidies and brag about seeking political favors.
Oh crikes don’t remind me Jeb is on Hannity tonight. I just don’t think I can hear Jebbie splain it to me again.
“Oh crikes dont remind me Jeb is on Hannity tonight. I just dont think I can hear Jebbie splain it to me again.”
Hannity has become a shrill little pud who will not let anyone get a word in edgewise on his program. He’s off my watch list. And he can take Dana Perino with him.
Favorite quote from Trump today: “I don’t need anybody’s money. ... I’m using my own money. I’m not using the lobbyists. I’m not using donors. I don’t care. I’m really rich”.
As always.
Yeh Dana RINO Perino is obnoxious. I think Hannity has been letting the candidates speak freely though. He does constantly interrupt the other guests. Like Obloviate.
I don't think Hannity quite understands how close to the precipice this country is if he believes Bush is who we need right now.
Well remember when Sean and Rudy Guiliani were going steady? He usually goes with the RINO herd.
