I dont think any of us have a chance in hell. I think we are all going to go broke. I think all the takers and trash of the world have killed US and the body just doesnt know the head is dead.

In the last 50 years weve done nothing but increase debt. How do we stop spending enough to pay down debt without raising taxes higher than some of the highest in the world on workers and cut the worlds lushest payoffs to illegals, breeders, thieves, thugs and other miscreants.

Political hacks in this country have been warned for decades we are going under and all the sh_ts have done is spend more to make things progressively worse for workers and better for the whores and pimps and slugs.

The jobs can be eliminated. Nobody needs to be fired. All it takes is a will to do it.

We can only hang out and argue the social issues if we’re alive and secure ... So let’s make sure that gets done first.

What he says is right. How he says it is akward. The guy has no reason to be insecure but constantly saying how much he has, how smart he is, etc makes him look weak, childish and even pitiful. Like he is trying to impress a neglectful father.

Donald Trump Presidential Candidacy Website Let's Make America Great Again!

Trump was great tonight on Hannity. He looked and sounded Presidential, had some umph and said things that will resonate with most Americans. So far I haven't heard a thing I disagree with. Jobs, the renegotiating the trade agreements, strong believer in the 2nd Amendment, build 'The Wall', repeal Obamacare, get rid of Common Core, strengthen our Military and . . lets face it, Trump wrote, "The Art of the Deal." What better person to deal with Putin, China, Iran and ISIS. Not to mention the IRS, EPA, etc.

Waiting to hear more. So far, he's my guy with Cruz a close second. . . and Sarah Palin for VP! I also want to hear him say under no circumstances will he consider a third party.

The third party would erase all hope of anything good. Hillary would win hands down.

Missed it Art. I’ll see if I can tune into rebroadcast sometime.

He’s getting a whole lot of attention here. That full speech was hard to believe.

To be honest, I was not ready for it. Woke me right up.

I was thinking of him tackling the low cost housing issue as a businessman. He could probably win himself a lot of points from both lower income whites, and from lower income minorities if he is making a serious run.

I heard recent figures that stated .70 cents of every dollar currently coming in to the federal gubbamint is spent on entitlements. Within a decade, it is projected this will go to .90 cents of every dollar.

If any politician promises NOT to raise taxes...he is a liar. They will raise taxes, they have no choice. We as a nation cannot produce enough GDP to dig our way out. The (not so)federal reserve is between a rock and a hard place. Keeping interest rates low gives them no weapons to fight an economic downturn (which is on the horizon) and raising interest rates during an economic downturn will further exacerbate a downturn not to mention adding hundreds of billions to the national debt through interest on the debt.

It is time to cut spending in all levels of government and cut dramatically. All agencies, all bureaucracies, otherwise this nation will collapse. It's just a hard reality. Our nation is in a fiscal emergency. Our nations debt IS a national security threat.

"OUR LIVES OUR FORTUNES AND OUR SACRED HONOR"

What does (or at least did) this mean?

If folks were as diligent about exercising their 1st amendment responsibilities as some are about worshiping the Created Things associated with the 2nd, then maybe the manure wagon wouldn't be careening towards the windt-unnel so gaily.

Yes. The only choice is to cut spending. Will it happen? No.

There will be austerity cuts and tax increases coming. May not be for another decade, but it’s coming.

A decade will be too late. I wonder what austerity will look like after what we have now?

I remember growing up in the 50s and 60s on a whole lot of franks and beans, kraft mac and cheese with tuna and such like that. It was normal fare around our house and were were happy with it. Three little bedrooms, an eat in kitchen, LR and enclosed carport den frame house without air and with wall heaters. It was like a palace to us. Others had much more but we didn’t notice much. I guess Mom did but we didn’t. We had a back yard full of things to play with and in that Dad built and we had time and place to go fishing outside of town and walks and camping and we had love and we were happy. Life was much simpler. Granted, we were kids but life was simpler.

The taking class has more and better now than we did then. I wonder what austerity would be like?

Austerity will come but I doubt it will be as a positive action designed to save the country or economy. Most probably it will be from collapse.

>>kraft mac and cheese with tuna<<

Hey...don't disparage my M&C w/tuna....I love it. lol Still eat it today.

I agree, life was much simpler. I believe we are going back to having less. It will take some time before folks adjust, but they will.

A collapse is almost a certainty. Not being cynical, just a reality. As a nation, our leaders will have to pay the piper for the monumental fiscal mismanagement they've lead us into.

We better start now, or it will be much much worse. D.C. and even state/local governments must begin cutting budgets.

When folks grumble, real leaders need to set an example and lead. They need to explain to citizens either now and hurt a little or a lil later and hurt allot.

Most cuts will come from unfunded “promised” liabilities/entitlements. We need to eliminate all redundant federal agencies with that of the states.

For instance, Texas has a an Air control board, Education agency...that sort of thing. Let the states handle their own local issues.

Your answer is in your statement, cut off the worlds lushest payoffs to illegals, breeders, thugs and other micscreants
