Off-shoring comes from a tax and regulatory policy that hurts American enterprise.
Actually, even with lower taxes and regulations our workers can’t compete with coolie wages in third world countries. It will take some active measures by government to make companies think twice before locating their factories in impoverished counties. Trump’s idea of taxing the imported products is very much worth considering. Among our candidates, he’s the only one who has identified the problem so clearly.
100% correct. I've had some attempt to sway me to their candidates the past few months. I simply told them I don't have a candidate yet. I do now.
Suddenly a non-government, non political bureaucrat who can't be bought steps into the ring and says what others dare not say. Nothing was sugar coated. Straight up. No bureaucratic BS.
BTW, we've been listening to Rush and for two hours he talked about nothing but the old story about white nutcase who thinks she's black. Of course this was the same guy who was invited for drinks and a sleep-over at the Bush White House...lol
At least Rush isn’t doing parodies of Trump (the way he did to ridicule Perot). Or at least not yet. I actually laughed at the parodies of Perot - but have since come to realize that Perot was right, not crazy, when he warned against off-shoring.
I was once a Rush fan, but over the years I’ve come to see him as an enabler of the GOP’s breaches of faith, by making excuses and trying to divert our attention to other issues.
That's completely untrue. Are you familiar with the effects of productivity?
Yep, it's hard to miss with him.
Those on the government payroll and big party insiders must be gathered in conference rooms all over the country right now, trying to figure out how they can set this guy up or discredit him.
What a massive contrast, while all the other bureaucrats are running around attempting to pander and babble out speeches in Spanish, Trump says he’ll build the biggest baddest wall and make Mexico pay for it.
Great stuff.
If ya find one, ping me.
It’ll be the only ping list I belong to.
Thanks.
All the sleazy politicos and journolisters won’t like Donald because he can’t be bought,,therefore, they have no influence.
Despite that he is still highly successful by any means.
It’s an excellent article by Schlafly
Remember while Trump CAN build stuff bigger and better, he tends to NOT build stuff self sustaining. Anybody looked at Trump Taj lately?
The Trump Brand has been around for a long time,,I’d call that “self-sustaining.”
When has Trump been against creating jobs?
Trump doesn’t need any more fame. The “he’s in it for the fame” accusation doesn’t square with me.
Why is Trump ‘stupid’? Please explain that.
Trump isn’t in it for the money, he doesn’t need the fame, he won’t be losing a career if he’s not nominated...he has nothing to lose. Sounds to me like he cares for his country and feels that he is in a position to put his talents to use to help save this nation. And yet all this hatred on FR...amazes me.
I am beginning to wonder if people on FR who are becoming nearly hysterical in their hatred of Trump are worried he might usurp their favorite candidate. Dana Perino, anyone? So far I have not seen any of the other Republican candidates stand up with the uncompromising resolve that Trump has...on issues that we all say we care about.
With that said....he’z right on the mark. The debates will be so fun to watch this cycle.
Although, I don't think Trump has a snow balls chance, he will be a very important voice during the debates. He will get (force) candidates to discuss issues they will not want to address. Just by his demeanor and style, candidates will be taken off guard. I think Ted Cruz and Rand Paul will have a similar effect during the debates.
Paul and Cruz both have a firm grasp on constitutional issues. Trump clearly leads the pack regarding financial/business issues and Rick Perry (as squirly as he was last cycle) has the strongest fiscal/governmental management record in which to levy. Jeb doesn't have a clue. Walker will hold his own. Pataki will be perceived by the south as a big gubbamint republican. Fiorina is running as a woman and could possibly end up on a short list for VP, Rubio’s earlier alignment with McCain's immigration fiasco has already done his candidacy irreparable harm.
What’chall think?
