Donald Trump is running for president. The multi-billionaire announced his presidential plans today from his namesake tower in New York City. Trump, 69, was introduced by his daughter Ivanka as he formally declared his 2016 intentions, descending down an escalator with wife Melania to speak to the gathered crowd. In his remarks he attacked the Obama administration on everything from immigration and terrorism to Obamacare and the job market as he promised to bring back the American dream. He also released his financial information, revealing a net worth of $8.7billion.
'We need somebody that literally will take this country and make it great again. We can do that,' said Trump. I will be the greatest jobs president God ever created 'Ladies and gentlemen, I am officially running for president of the United States, and we are going to make our country great again.'
As for what he could do for the country, Trump said he would be the 'greatest jobs president God ever created.' He then added; 'The fact is, the American Dream is dead - but if I win, I will bring it back bigger and better and stronger than ever before.'
As for Obamacare, Trump called the program a 'disaster.' 'ObamaCare must be repealed and replaced with something far superior and at far less cost,' he said in his remarks.
Trump also put much of the focus of his speech on the issue of immigration.
The fact is, the American Dream is dead - but if I win, I will bring it back bigger and better and stronger than ever before. 'It is way past time to build a massive wall to secure our southern border - and nobody can build a bigger and better wall than Donald Trump,' said Trump.

yes, he’s siphoning votes from the conservative candidates who want to stop the off-shoring of American jobs.
Uh, which candidates are those?
Name one. Just one.
George H.W. Bush started out as a pro-abortion "fiscal conservative" and look how his, "Read my lips: no new taxes" pledge worked out.
***********************
Exactly. It's all a part of the whole. It may be desperation or something else entirely, but those who claim that a conservative can be pro-abortion, pro-euthanasia or for anything but one man + one woman marriage are not conservatives. It simply can't work that way.
Then why did you say this to me?
You are the reason we have DemoRATs in office. I believe in the sanctity of life, but I would not withhold support on that issue alone. Maybe you can stay home again that thatll show em!
I'm not committed to any candidate anymore, but sure am glad Trump's in it.

I am on the Trump train after that speech today everything hubby and I have talked about for years he hit on. If nothing else he has a harsh mouth and knows how it all works. I am sick of career politicians. I bet the world stood up today look at Russia today Putin says Russian military will receive 40 new intercontinental ballistic missiles this year. I cannot wait to hear Trump say “Putin you are fired”
I still have the right to change my mind, but for now that speech with no teleprompter...ROCKED
Some people naturally gravitate towards the most clownish candidates. They want showmen, not statesmen
So what the rest of the world has already seen a clown, how is that working for us?
I don’t trust a guy with $8 billion, but he can’t contact the Hair club for Men.
We don’t care if your bald just don’t look like the guy from Flock of Seagulls!
“The United States use to have a garment industry. Moved out after free trade agreements.”
I disagree somewhat. You left out Unions, Corporate Taxes, and Regulations.
If still here, you would be paying $150 for a shirt, and $500 for sneakers.
I for one am glad Trump is in the race. It will be a good side show for awhile. However he is not a serious candidate. Trump has no foundation on social issues in any way shape or form. I just saw him spend ten minutes discussing his balance sheet and talking about how good he is at building hotels. All good things, but not my President. Not even close.
If Trump swings away at Obama and Hillary, then we know he is a serious candidate. The bashing of conservative candidates has to stop.
Here’s the entire post:
Is he pro life?
That is the one issue on which I will accept no substitutions.
You are the reason we have DemoRATs in office. I believe in the sanctity of life, but I would not withhold support on that issue alone. Maybe you can stay home again that thatll show em!
And I stand by my statement. There are people (and evidently you are one) who place their religious beliefs above all else. You are one of the one’s who prefer to stay home when you don’t like any of the choices, and by so doing, you let the worst of several “unpalatable choices” gain public office. The last two presidential elections were marked by people not voting for the reasons you state. So we’ve had 8 years of Marxism. Is that preferable to the alternatives that were presented? Tell us all if you stayed home because the alternatives to Obola were “unacceptable” to you and for what reason(s).
[ Trouble is my middle name. :-)
When or if Trump gets nominated 90% of the Freepers will vote for him. If we all voted for McStain and Mitt we can vote for Trump. I have no problem with Trump other than waiting see how his poll numbers go. I think he is going to expose these wishy washy politicians in the debates. Cant wait. ]
I would vote for Trump over Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, or any candidate that supportd Sham Cram-Nasty....
If he does nothing else but says what needs to be said, and what the PC coward politicians won’t say, he will have served a purpose.
So, if it came down to trump or bush, which would you pick?
I would vote for Trump for $9 billion. Would take 4.5 billion and buy my own country and have Walker and Cruz lead it.
“I disagree somewhat. You left out Unions, Corporate Taxes, and Regulations.
Only one that I’m familiar with was unionized. Unions jobs account for only about 10% of jobs today. The regulations certainly play a large part, and the countries that are in the free trade agreements don’t have them; we still will. Regulations are strangling our economy and it will remain so with the current politicians.
Talks a good game. So did Jesse Ventura when he got elected.
Then earn P-Marlowe’s vote instead of repeating GOP-E shibboleths.
Heard Trump on Hannity’s show on the way home today - Trump said he’s going to build the fence along the southern border —
And make Mexico pay for it.
As a Californian - that got my attention!!
In the immortal words of our next President.... "You betcha!"
FWIW, if you don't put your religious beliefs above all else, then I don't think you can call yourself a Christian any more that that NAACP fraud can call herself "black". IOW, you can self identify youself as a Christian, but you might have a hard time convincing God when you are called to stand before him and make an accounting of your life.
By definition Christians put their religion before all earthly concerns. Christ is first in all matters. We can only do good when it is intended to glorify God. If we can't glorify God with our vote, then the world would be better served if we didn't vote.
“Trump has no foundation on social issues in any way shape or form.”
And that I view as a positive! As Trump rightly pointed out, our level of debt is almost to the point where we will have no choice but to become Greece, so I don’t give a $hit about “social issues!” It long past time for our Federal government to be “repurposed” back to those issues the Constitution laid out as it’s sole prerogatives. Get out of welfare, medicine, gun control, commerce and education for starters, and start rebuilding our military.
