On Adam Carolla’s Friday podcast, syndicated Salem radio talk show host Hugh Hewitt made an appearance to promote his new book, “The Queen: The Epic Ambition of Hillary and the Coming of a Second ‘Clinton Era.’”
During that appearance, Carolla asked Hewitt about his thoughts on Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton and if at this stage in her career it was possible for her to put off a better “vibe” to make her more appealing to the public.
Hewitt acknowledged Clinton’s age, but added that he thought she would win the presidency in 2016.
“She’s 67,” Hewitt said. “She’ll be 69 if she wins and I think she will – the presidency.”
Later in that segment, Hewitt, who is slated to be a moderator in one of the upcoming Republican presidential primary debates, elaborated on why took that position. According to Hewitt, the deck is stacked against the Republican candidate because of the Electoral College and Clinton he said was “awfully smart” and would formidable financially.
“I wrote ‘The Queen’ because the advice, if she takes it, she’ll win,” he explained. “So if I put it on the table, maybe she won’t take it because the Electoral College is so freaking against the Republicans. And so, we have to nominate the perfect ticket. They have to make a lot of mistakes. The Jets did beat the Colts, right – in Super Bowl III. So, it’s possible.

Republicans have won only two (2) of the last six (6) presidential elections, and have won the popular vote in only one (1) of the six (6).

I was a nose-holder in 2012, FTR. And I do not think there were too many conservatives that stayed home. I am convinced of election fraud though, and the RINO segment of the Uniparty keeps their mouths shut about that.
The fact is that the Left has so far not made life in America intolerable for most people. At least, not people who count. (I.e., not counting the inner-city blacks who have been murdered, unborn babies, etc.)
But the Left has every intention of making life intolerable for more and more people: most Christians, some Jews, people who work for a living, non-sodomites, etc.
There are some things Americans will not tolerate, and electing the Rapist’s Enabler is the way to find out what they are.
Hewitt is an ex-Catholic. What’s the beef? Adulterous “marriage”?

I am all for fighting tooth and nail for the most conservative Republican candidate possible. Reagan proved that they WIN. The RINOs have proven that RINOs lose.
But if a RINO gets the nomination, no matter how bad, he will destroy the country SLOWER than the Democrat.
If we manage to get the destruction of the country SLOWED DOWN enough—then we all have a better chance of dying before the destruction is complete. And whoever dies before the country is utterly destroyed WINS.

I have to agree with Hewitt. Short of her dying or coming down with a very serious illness, I see no way she can be beat. She will start the general only needing 30 additional electoral college votes and I am damn sure there is no way for BUSH to over come that.

Perhaps more so. Had we elected Romney, the gun control bill of 2013 would have passed because he would have swayed Republicans to support it. Same with amnesty and the recent trade bill. And Obamacare--renamed Romneycare--would be here to stay.
