If you can choose your gender, why not have the ability to choose your race?
That appears to be the argument shaping up to explain the bizarre case of NAACP Spokane, Washington chapter president Rachel Dolezal, whose parents have gone public with the fact that she was born blond and blue-eyed.
Rachel Dolezal, the president of the Spokane, Washington, NAACP, is being accused of falsely portraying herself as a black woman, CBS News' Adriana Diaz reports.
Her biological parents claim she is misrepresenting "major portions of her life," including being born white. As the city's mayor says it has opened an investigation and is gathering facts to determine if any city policies were violated, Dolezal is denying these accusations.
"Actually, I don't like the term African-American; I prefer black. So, if asked, I would say, yes, I consider myself to be black," Dolezal said to Spokane affiliate KREM.
But Dolezal's biological parents say that's just not true.
"Our daughter is primarily German and Czech and of European descent," her mother said.
Her parents, Ruthanne and Larry, live in a rural home in Troy, Montana.

The NAACP was founded by four white’s one of whom went on to start the ACLU with two others.
Oooh, lovely, thanks for posting. ‘Twould appear that she was “victimized” by a terror mailing that magically appeared with no postage and a swastika that appeared on the door of the Human Rights Education Institution when the security cameras were mysteriously turned off. The woman’s oppressed, I tellya!
I dunno... is that... “racist”?
Only white people can be racist.
So, when she was identifying as “black”, and was in fact white, could she be “racist”?
This is all so confusing!

If the President of the United States, Obama, can get away with:
1. Claiming that his father is a black man from Kenya, and
2. Claiming that his mother is a white woman from Kansas,
3. When a lot of people argue that the evidence proves that the above statements are not true, and,
4. Obama won't submit to DNA tests to prove his true ethnic background,
5. Then I suppose anything is possible, for instance, I guess a white woman can start claiming that she is black, when her birth certificate, family childhood pictures, and her parents testimony prove that says she is white.
Black or white? Who am I to judge? :-)
Bruce is mentally ill. Rachel Dolezal is a scammer. There is a difference.
Give her a can of shoe polish.

The CNN interview with her parents is priceless.

As is her being confronted by the local channel 4 news.
Once you go black you’ll never go back.
Isn’t white a color? My grandpa claimed to be 1/8 Apache but I’ve never seen any proof. But I feel like an Indian sometime so I will claim to be a native-American on the next census form.
What financial considerations has she illegally obtained?
Just like Fauxcahontas (Elizabeth Warren) claimed she was Indian so she could get college funds and grants..

Say hello to our next US Senator.
One question for black race agitators and their white liberal enablers: if “white privilege” exists, why does somebody like this woman pretend to be black in order to advance in life?
White Guilt
Thank you so much for posting those videos. The look on her face when she realized she was truly busted was priceless. First a flicker of malice and hatred towards the reporter for busting her, then panic took over. Lip chewing, even. I love it that she ran away and left her purse and car keys behind and acted like a real live feminist by hiding in a clothing store. Comedy Gold!!!
