If you can choose your gender, why not have the ability to choose your race?
That appears to be the argument shaping up to explain the bizarre case of NAACP Spokane, Washington chapter president Rachel Dolezal, whose parents have gone public with the fact that she was born blond and blue-eyed.
Rachel Dolezal, the president of the Spokane, Washington, NAACP, is being accused of falsely portraying herself as a black woman, CBS News' Adriana Diaz reports.
Her biological parents claim she is misrepresenting "major portions of her life," including being born white. As the city's mayor says it has opened an investigation and is gathering facts to determine if any city policies were violated, Dolezal is denying these accusations.
"Actually, I don't like the term African-American; I prefer black. So, if asked, I would say, yes, I consider myself to be black," Dolezal said to Spokane affiliate KREM.
But Dolezal's biological parents say that's just not true.
"Our daughter is primarily German and Czech and of European descent," her mother said.
Her parents, Ruthanne and Larry, live in a rural home in Troy, Montana.

Men and Women who don’t feel like men or women respectively can now use the toilets of any gender they like...
SO, if she feels she is black ( and even not a woman ), why should we judge?
Is there some requirement that the NAACP only has black officials???? Just saying, is she doing the job she was hired to do???? Isn’t it racist if she is summarily fired, assuming she was doing the job she was hired to do???

Met a Dutch Pastor from South Africa that is lily-white - just got his American citizenship and now calls himself an “African-American” (probably should be Afrikaan-American...)
The only thing better would be if her parents were black.

Her parents were missionaries who adopted children from Africa (much younger than her) and she was married to a black man. Not sure if she had children by him.
But she has a lot of family reasons to “identify as black.”

Liz Warren lied about her race & got a high paying job for doing nothing followed by a senate seat.
If she identified herself as a black man, the idiot left wouldn’t know what to do.
And Liz Warren is Indian.
That would make her NBB... a Natural Born Black.
They might be mad that she’s trying to impersonate a privileged ethnicity,
but would have problem criticizing “him” because “he’s” a “transgender”.
