Gov. John Kasich (R-Ohio) said on Sunday that he had the strongest political background of any 2016 presidential candidate.  “I think it’s the best resume and a terrific record,” Kasich told host Chuck Todd on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”
Kasich has long teased a White House run next year but has not yet publicly declared a bid.
“I’m optimistic about where we are,” he said

Kasich is an idiot. He is Jeb 2.0. Poor immigration strategy, poor position on Common Core and opened Ohio up to more Obamacare shenanigans. He is bucking to be the Veep on a Jeb ticket.
He will drop out after the Ohio primary when his “That’s MY GOV” vote tally lowers the overall winning percentage in the winner take all is awarded to Jeb at 19%. His reward will be the Veep slot because he is from Ohio.

Certainly not by accomplishments.
He’s fighting an uphill battle for the Veep slot solely because of Ohio as a battleground state with a likely result of getting a cabinet post in a GOP administration instead.
I like John. Reminds me of Even Almighty. BUT. A man’s got to know his limitations.
Who excites me less as a possible Presidential nominee?
Kasich, Jindal, Carson, Graham, Huckabee or Perry?

Kasich is a greasy, little opportunist and a flake. He’ll do anything to get a vote.
One glaring example is overriding the State Legislature using underhanded methods in order to shove Obama’s Medicaid Expansion down the throats of Ohioans. I bet he dreams about all those “downtrodden” people who are now going to vote for him because he gave them health insurance.
I live in Ohio and have never voted for him and never will.
