So it can park itself, but it will crash into people if you don’t buy an additional feature?
How volvo thought splitting these two things into two separate features was a good thing, is beyond me. Nobody must’ve ran this awesome idea past legal.

Good Volvo...
Except it was probably Car and Driver reporters and not the normal scum and villainy that inhabit the front pages of the newspapers...

Their response seems rather casual to a brutal hit. Thought I may even have heard a snicker.

I have to laugh.
We used to call Volvos the car for people that hate cars. That was when all the granola hippies drove them, presumably to make a statement that they only drove serious, non-fun cars to make sure no one thought they enjoyed driving.
To this day, it is still a favored car among liberals. I got one as a rental a few months ago and it was the weirdest car I have driven in many years.
To: grundle
Well now! We may have finally found a car that recognizes journalists for the pond scum they are.
Is there a place to negotiate fleet pricing?

I remember the Volvo ads from the 70's condescendingly touting them as "the car for people who think". Problem was, in typical lib fashion, they were lured into a false sense of security thinking that because Volvos were supposedly as safe as a giant crash helmet, they could get away with driving like a**holes. Iornically, from 1961 to 1974, Volvo made one of the nicest looking sprots cars, the 1800
Like the one Roger Moore drove in the TV series The Saint. In fact Moore himself owned a couple of 1800's.

A car that automatically PLOWS OVER JOURNALISTS...?
That car is smarter and braver than 90% of the US population.

I drove one of the SC90s as a rental. Nicest car I’ve ever driven. And that thing was fast......

I have been concerned that self parking and self driving car might not be able to recognize vampires. Is this accident due to faulty programing or sensors in the vehicle or to vampire like qualities of many reporters?
