I saw the movie when it came out back in ‘82. I enjoyed it.

LATE SCHUBERT PIANO PIECESThis is in 3/4 and marked allegro. Its all about the right hand playing triplets, but there is a turn to G-flat and E-flat minor. Then he abruptly turns to B minor for an impassioned central section. He brings back the first section, but the coda is based on the B minor section, which resolves in a surprising E-flat minor.
Schubert: Impromptu in E-flat, D. 899/2

LATE SCHUBERT PIANO PIECESThis is in 4/2 (double split-C) and marked andante. This was featured on Smallville as a running gag as Lex Luthor flubbed the same passage when he played it. This is one of those pieces best listened to with eyes closed.
Schubert: Impromptu in G-flat, D. 899/3

Hi!
That was beautiful... You were right about the "floating"!
I learned about classical music from my Dad; some pieces could move him to tears. Since it's Memorial Day Weekend, and this is my first visit to the Canteen- thank you, by the way- I just wanted to mention my Dad, who fought in the Korean War. God bless him, and all our military! I'm so proud to be his daughter!

Keep trying...maybe you could bike together. And then Maddi will need a little bike with little training wheels and a helmet and International Orange flags on long poles for all of you. safety first, but it would allow you to get around. Good luck.
