Assistant Secretary of State Thomas Countryman visited Israel, spoke to diplomats about making Middle East nuke-free.
Assistant US Secretary of State for International Security and Nonproliferation, Thomas Countryman, recently visited Israel and held talks with senior Foreign Ministry officials, about the possibility of making the Middle East nuclear-free.
Washington seeks to advance the idea after reaching agreement with Russia about the matter.
The State Department confirmed Countryman's visit and sources in the US Administration said that Israeli agreement to the idea would be a catalyst for bringing additional countries into discussions on the matter.
The Americans have been attempting to convene an international conference on the subject for some time, without success. Secretary of State John Kerry spoke about the idea with pessimism, and said it was “a very tough challenge.”

Thanks to Obama, every surviving regime in the Middle East wants nukes. Obama want to let Iran have nukes, but take away Israel’s nukes. He knows exactly what the consequences will be and is okay with it as long as the Iranians promise to nuke Israel AFTER he leaves office.

One more thing: This is the first salvo to exert global/UN pressure on Israel to give up its nukes.
Guarantee, this will become a mantra/talking point until the 2016 election is decided.
Why doesn’t Obama just ask the Kinesset to invite ISIS and Iran into their meeting and just tell the Israelis to lay down and have their heads cut off. The Jews are not going to commit suicide.

Stop this silly negotiations with Iran. Offer Israel $100 bil for ALL their nukes. Give Iran the acquired nukes for “safe keeping.”
It won’t make Israel happy. So what? Iran will be happy because they now can wipe out Israel at no risk. ValJar will be a aesthetic for doing her Iranian masters a bang up job, no pun intended.

I’m gobsmacked. It’s like listening to third-graders.
I never gave much thought whether Obama was actually a Moslem or not. But he might convince me that he is by actions. His sympathies certainly have always been with the Moslems.
But this is the most insane proposition yet, all while he pigheadedly pursues an agreement with Iran that any average sixth grader knows will allow Iran to do whatever they please in nuclear development.
They're not paying him anything; for him it's a labor of love.

Just nod politely and make sure your nukes are buried well underground or otherwise hidden. I guess they have subs, so Israel should be safe from Obama.
