All were created and controlled by the same network of people and led by James Reynolds Sr., the F.T.C. says.
Private cars, cruises, luxury items...paid for with donations.
Sort of like taking in 150 million in donations and using 9 imillion of it for actual charitable work.
Does the gubment have an opinion on the Clinton foundation, or are they still legit?
This sounds very familiar to the Clinton Foundation. Hillary is probably busting Bill's chops, "Why didn't you think this up?"
They call our house all the time from different charities. The only one that my Mom gave to was the Make a Wish charity because we know that one is legit..and once she gave to the Leukemia society
The federal givernment is the largest scam in America...
and is only the tip of the iceberg..
IF the givernment(fed, state, local) is taxing something YOU OWN...
You are RENTING IT from the givernment..
Well, while there is probably little doubt about these charities, if THERE IS one thing this government knows about, its shams.
I make the assumption all the national charities are crooked...
The only surprise, besides people not suspecting this stuff, is that this is being brought out.
I also suspect all those companies that ask for you to ‘adopt’ a kid in another country.
My wife gave money to a pro-life group, then I did a search of them.
Now she realizes she had been taken to the cleaners by a slush fund.
My caller I.D. gave this number: 509-252-0796. Gave no caller identification except that it was from Spokane. It was an automated call that said they were calling on the behalf of Breast Cancer Research. They asked if I was over 25? I answered “yes.” The woman’s voice then says, “I did not get your answer, could you repeat your answer?” When I repeated my answer, the introduction started over. Upon checking at 800notes, people were very irritated and saying it was a scam. I hate to think what they are able to scam when their auto caller works.
Some try to imitate legitimate charities, such as the Disabled Veterans National Foundation. Its name is quite similar to Disabled American Veterans (DAV)—the real charity, which has a 4 star rating.
The DVNF will send you a lot of patriotic junk, making you feel obligated to give but ignore it, it’s just sent on speculation. Damn near as corrupt as the Clinton Foundation.

i didn’t know the Clinton Crime Family had cancer “charities.”
Nothing new here.
been going on for decades.
Donate time and money LOCALLY - where you can track where it goes...
Give transportation for treatments- pay for wigs - give gas/grocery gift cards directly to patients -
If people donated locally - ,many more people would actually get the help/money instead of it disappearing into insane salaries/etc///
the Red Cross even charges for a bottle of water!
The “help the veterans” charities are really bad too. Give direct and give local for best results.
Possibly, but one must consider the track record and maintain skepticism of the source.
i give to Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital
i know they do research and give people cutting edge treatment
We give to our local pregnancy help center, which is supported by several local churches of different denominations. They use the money well.
At least corrupt Big Charity doesn't stick guns in peoples' faces and take their money by force. That's left to Big Government to do ...
I have gotten caught by several of these, most notably the BCS (coincidentally while my sister was dying of IBC). Even though we have been a bit strapped I felt guilty so said I would “pledge” to send money.
They never got anything from me. After I studied up on them, I knew it was mostly a scam.
Another reason NOT to give credit over the phone directly, under duress. Tell them you’ll get them a check - if they pass your scrutiny.
