***Officers said there were multiple types of weapons used, including guns, chains, knives, bats and clubs.***
***There were maybe 30 guns being fired in the parking lot, maybe 100 rounds, said Michelle Logan, 37, who was at Twin Peaks at the time of the shooting and said she knows some of the victims. They just opened fire.***
UPDATE, 4:00 p.m.(CDT): At least nine people are confirmed dead in a shooting around noon Sunday at Twin Peaks restaurant, said Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton. All of the fatalities are members of biker gangs. No patrons, servers or less enforcement officials were killed, Swanton said.
There is a very significant increase in law enforcement in McLennan County right now, Swanton said. Local, county, state and federal agencies are involved in investigations.
DPS and intelligence agents were working on the investigation long before today and Waco police have been aware of the inquest for more than a month, said Swanton.
Twin Peaks and Don Carlos were closed down after the shooting, and witnesses are being questioned on the scene and at the police department, according to the sergeant.
The management wanted them here, Swanton said of Twin Peaks officials. Management knew that there were issues, and we were here, but they continued to let those groups of people into their business.
SNIP
There were at least three rival gangs on the scene when the shooting occurred, Swanton said.
At least 12 Waco officers, including a SWAT team, and other DPS troopers were at Twin Peaks or in the immediate area when the incident broke out.
Waco police officers moved in and did fire rounds during the incident, Swanton said, praising their quick response.

All we are hearing is the LEO’s opinion. I smell a rat. I think the LEO’s placed themselves in a position to smite the bikers with extreme prejudice, using the battle between gangs as the pretense. Granted- it isn’t the wild west. That being said- there appears to be some premeditated scorching of the earth policies that deserve an investigation. I’m totally for law and order. Was this law and order? Or... an ambush by LEO? Latest report is 18 SWAT persons engaged the bikers with 4 State po po vehicles on assist status. Plus- LEO website has report of MC vowing to take down LEO’s. Source? A lot of he said / she said. WHO is doing the investigation? Yes! It’s Texas. It’s also the U.S. of A. Cretins deserve to be eradicated. Was this a good shoot or an opportunity to exterminate some LEO undesirables under the pretense of self defense? Let all of the facts come out unblemished. Has anyone heard from the prosecuted? Anyone? That’s what I thought. I’ll take a wait and see approach. This good shoot isn’t passing the smell test. YMMV.
I knew earlier today they had announced they were considering this...not surprised they did so. Any business would after this bloodbath.
Interesting thing is that they seriously would not cooperate with the police prior......as we've read now in what ways they declined. You would think they would want to protect their business. Perhaps there's much more to this than running a business.
I tend to think there was some real shadowy deals struck in this place....and not small town stuff either!
And here's how it's served
At my age both food and manner served would kill me....:o)
Ok maybe not but the food would...:o)
Or has a pin....
LOLOLOL....
Magnificent way to go, either way.
Will be interesting to see if the charges thrown against the wall to see what sticks....will.
Just a big bar fight in Texas, sort of like the old Borger Texas of the early oil days. Stories I’ve read and heard of that era makes this Wacko in Waco event seem mild.

Gonna be funny to see all those bikes get auctioned or crushed....:o)
Yes indeed.....:o)
