Glad you are not having an issue. I, too, keep wondering how he built up so much speed. And I wonder if the passengers noticed it. In this day and age with all the handheld media, I wonder if someone didn’t text someone with questions.

I don't know whether the passengers would have noticed or not. Riding on the Metro, acceleration and side to side movement seems abrupt. On the Commuter train, I can hardly feel when the train starts - I can feel the side to side, of course, and the braking as well - but not the acceleration.
