This nagger knows how everyone should conduct their business.
He’s beyond Mussolini now. He wants his own category.
Arbeit macht...You know, someone stole that sign.
Hussein, the Magnificent, of the restored caliphate.
The totalitarian great dictator demands that Churches obey him.
Leftism is idolatry; in any form of leftist state, Government Almighty replaces God.
You are NOT God, Barry Hussein!!! Repent of your blasphemy!
My goodness.....he really is stupid!
The poor will always be with us, but murder is forever.
He wants us to concentrate more on works and ignore gross sin. In other words, he is more interested in a Liberal political project than a moral one based on the bible. Most churches have been fighting the effects of poverty for centuries. He acts like they never heard of the problem.
"Helping the poor" is just a dog whistle for shoveling government (i.e. forcibly taken from others) money at a historical human problem, most of which is caused by two things: bad, tyrannical, corrupt government and individual sinful behavior and attitudes which prevent people from improving and supporting themselves.
In America, there is little excuse for poverty because if people simply conducted their individual lives in a Biblical and moral manner there would be much less poverty and that which existed would be manageable by the Church or individual families. There would be intact families, people who strived to do better and do the morally right thing, and an economic system and interpersonal relationships based on Biblical values which means it would be just, fair, and open in the way it is conducted.
We are in the societal mess we are in because huge swaths of the people who are poor have made bad personal choices with the wrong values, attitudes, and behavior. In other words, poverty is lurking at their door because of their own (and sometimes other people's) sinful actions and the result is not pretty. In a lot of cases our own government enables this very destructive behavior so we get more of it.
OK
Paul wrote to the Christians at Corinth..
“In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we command you, brothers and sisters, to keep away from every believer who is idle and disruptive and does not live according to the teaching you received from us. For you yourselves know how you ought to follow our example. We were not idle when we were with you, nor did we eat anyone’s food without paying for it. On the contrary, we worked night and day, laboring and toiling so that we would not be a burden to any of you.
We did this, not because we do not have the right to such help, but in order to offer ourselves as a model for you to imitate. For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: “The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.”
We hear that some among you are idle and disruptive. They are not busy; they are busybodies. Such people we command and urge in the Lord Jesus Christ to settle down and earn the food they eat.”
2 Corinthians 3:6-12
Churches should “focus” on the spiritual care and education of their congregations and the surrounding communities. That includes covering the entire Bible, not just politically correct selections from a buffet table of passages. God is the best imaginable source of guidance, and to delete scripture simply because Obama doesn’t approve would be shockingly immoral.
Yes, we should help the poor, but that is not enough. We cannot be Christians, followers of Christ, is we help the poor but also steal. We cannot be Christians if we help the poor but wallow in sexual immorality to such an extent that our lives are centered on sex instead of on God’s Word. We cannot be Christians if we pick and choose the passages to follow, doing whatever we want and rejecting the passages that call on us to follow God instead of following our own whims and desires.
No, thank you. As much as I would get short-term physical pleasure from following 80% of the Bible, or perhaps 60%, I have more trust in God than that. I am 100% confident that God’s Word is right for me, and that I will get more happiness and joy out of following scripture as close to 100% of the time as possible. And even if I miss out on something I would have enjoyed, I am confident that in the long run I am better off putting my life in God’s hands rather than my own. Even if I fall short of the Bible’s standards occasionally, as we all do, I am certain that I am better off trying to follow God’s guidance than consciously rejecting His Word.
Like Hillary, he is an utter fascist who thinks it is government’s role to dictate private religious beliefs. The First Amendment means nothing to these totalitarians.

Churches have been focusing on poverty for centuries you limp wristed Marxist moron. I have never seen any president nor any other prominent politician be so consistently wrong like this asshat. And he is wrong publicly in addition to making statements that are easily refuted as false.
Actually by focusing on abortion one does focus on poverty. The governmental system of welfare rewards those who have more children by keeping them reliant on welfare. The more children the more the woman takes in the form of material wealth from the government.By focusing on abortion and its eradication, you focus on the family and the planning of family - not to be misconstrued with the organization called Planned Parenthood. Focusing on abortion brings to light the very nature of family brings in other aspects of the Church like morals and ethics to name a few. It brings in personal and civic responsibility for one’s actions and the consequences that are derived from those actions. Focusing on the morality of the familial unit is germane to the focus on both issues. Poverty is a man made concept. It is the want of man made items and the lack of possessing them. Poverty ascribes to the materialistic nature of man (and woman). One can live in abject poverty and be as rich in the heart and faith as if one were to have a vast accumulation of money and material possessions. Faith in the spiritual is what keeps our hearts and minds rich. The Church, using its own material wealth to help the spiritual wealth of the individual and family, is focused where it should for it is the family that is one of the major pillars of our life and subsequently our communities. Government, although necessary, has gone too far in America it has over stepped its moral and civil authority and duties as that which was intended. It has generated rights where there were no rights given. Anything not a right is construed to be a privilege. A privilege can be taken away, a right cannot. By merely thinking that something should be innately given and moved from the category of privilege does not a right make. Never was there a Church and State separation written nor intended to be practiced by the State. The State needs those of various Faiths to counsel, teach and give advice to that in which the government should and cannot. The First Ammendment’s intention was not to do as a previous King of England had done and not create its own Church. The Forefather’s of this country knew that Faith was a vital element to keep men ethical and moral. This notion was one of the many reasons all faiths were welcomed in the US. Although let it be known the Founding Father’s hoped that Christianity remained the predominantly practice its citizens would ascribe to. There is nothing wrong with this aspiration by anyone to want someone to come to the faith in which they themselves practice. Forcing that individual to do so is wrong.
Without Faith, there is no check to balance what and how far one, in this case our government made up of men, could go and do. Faith, whether Christian, Jewish, Amish or any other faith that places the morality of good onto its practitioners, has its place in our Government as it is the final check to the balance in which hardly ever gets mentioned. The abstination, or merely the void, of Faith from our civil authorities has brought our weary country, and at over 200 years our country is still young, down a foreboding path - a path that is not too late to turn from. Our civil servants are no longer the servants, they have become the dregs to which will pull the house down. They are not masters and they are not servants, they have become envious(covetous) and when one is envious then one is blinded by their own selfish wants and put those in front of what is good of all others as a civil servant should do.
The Church and other organizations of Faith need to keep focusing on poverty and the ills that it causes which is to separate man from his ethical and moral obligations like gay marriage and the murder of the innocents in the name of abortions.
For the record here, when man is mentioned in this post means men, women and children. Man in the aspect of huMAN beings.
What does he expect when he’s trying to force it on everyone?
