Complaint says crosses at Catholic school offensive, prevent Muslim prayers, reads the headline at BeliefNet.
Its one of those headlines that sounds like a bad joke, but it isnt. Its not exactly a serious complaint, either, and it isnt coming from actual Muslim students in any event. Baffled Catholic University officials say they have never received a complaint from any of the schools Muslim students, writes BeliefNet.
In fact, the university expressed its bafflement in a full-length statement: Catholic Universitys faithfulness to our Catholic tradition has also made us a welcome home to students of other religions. No students have registered complaints about the exercise of their religions on our campus. We understand that a professor unaffiliated with Catholic University has made public allegations claiming that we are discriminating against our students on religious grounds, but we have not seen any legal filing and will respond to them if we do.
The sixty-page complaint was filed with the Washington, D.C. Office of Human Rights by a one-man nuisance-lawsuit factory, George Washington University Law School Professor John Banzhaf. Muslim students are but pawns in Banzhafs game against Catholics. Taken to its logical conclusion, his lawfare would wipe out mosques and Islamic learning centers as well. The rules of engagement in the Establishments War on Religion have a funny way of changing to accommodate Islam, however, so perhaps those hypothetical logical conclusions will never be reached.
Banzhafs complaint alleges that the large amount of Catholic imagery draping the halls of Catholic University creates an offensive environment in which Muslims are intimidated out of proper reverence for their own religion.
He further alleges the university does not provide space as other universities do for the many daily prayers Muslim students must make...

Then, enroll someplace else. Nobody is required to attend Catholic University.
We in the military recognize precisely what Moslems are doing. In our parlance, it is called “probing for the gaps”. This is where the enemy seeks to find gaps in a defensive line in order to infiltrate and exploit a weakness.
Professor John Banzhaf - rabble rousing & publicity seeking lawyer. Now worried about Moslems being offended by too many crucifixes at Catholic University. Next he will take after a Protestant religious college for too many crosses that might offend Moslems.
Same old Muslim agenda....”Kill all the Christians and Jews”.
bttt
The crucifixes finally went up, but not without delay.
Short answer should be to “shop elsewhere, as we have more Muslim accommodations that the Muslim Universities have Catholic accommodations”.
(What Muslim Universities?)
Round up all Moslems and ship them to Syria.
End of story.
Somebody has to say it? Where are the Muslim Universities? How about non existent.
Typical liberal. If no one is complaining, they they will be offended for them.
More thoughtful response:
“Perhaps you could show us an example of how Muslim Universities accommodate Catholics, so that we may benefit from your wisdom?”
I am so tired of Muslims and their nonsense. They expect all others to embrace their religion while never reciprocating themselves
Round up all Moslems and ship them to Syria.
End of story

AMEN so well said....
I think it’s time to replace the word “islamo-phobia” with the word “islamo-nausea”.
So like vampires, crosses repel Muslims? I’ll make a note of that...
They call it "Catholic University of America". With a name like that, I bloody well better be able to walk around on campus and know it's a Roman Catholic university, even without reading the signs. It should be exuding "Catholic" from its every pore.
If your at a Catholic Parish, a Catholic Mass, or a Catholic University the Symbols are going to brewery where Professor John Banzhaf, accept the situation.
In short Professor John Banzhaf, STFU!
Eh?
Monks making monastery ale?
I wonder how many Christian crosses are on display at the new muslim university I just read about?
