Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush rejects the popular notion that his support for a path to legal status for some undocumented immigrants is a surefire way to doom his shot at being the GOP presidential nominee.
In an extensive interview with Fox News host Megyn Kelly that is scheduled to air Monday night, Bush – who has strongly suggested he is moving toward announcing a run for the White House, but has yet to do so – said he believes that undocumented immigrants brought to the country as minors should be able to legalize their status.

I’m open minded on immigration, but I am entirely closed minded on illegality.
I simply can’t understand the persistence with which people continue to insist on calling these criminals “immigrants”. They are NOT immigrants, they are criminals and invaders by definition.
They are here not by right and not by permission. Why would anyone think they deserve any consideration at all?
My proposal? Arrest and incarceration on a work farm or similar where they would work until enough money had accumulated to buy a ticket home - then they are gone.
Jeb Bush is the personification of the term “squish”. I’m not voting for that zip-wad if he gets the GOP nomination I’m going for a 3rd party. I held my nose and voted for the last two GOPe candidates but there is no way I would vote for Bush in 2016.

These maggots like Jeb firmly believe what you write. It is as good as a done deal in their minds. One way or another, they believe there will soon be no more borders, only ‘regions’ that are defined in some way they have yet to reveal. The establishment of both parties, as well as any of the newbies who have managed to get into office and have sold their souls to advance up the political food chain, don’t think it’s a matter of “if” the borders go away, to them it is a matter of “when” the borders disappear and who can be the historic ‘hero’ in advancing their agenda.
They continue to call these criminals immigrants...because so many Americans are so terribly ill informed and naive as not to know any better!
