California just entered its fourth year in drought. Experts say it's the worst the state has seen in 1,200 years.
Dwindling reservoirs, shrinking lakes, and dried-up farm fields are everywhere and the drought shows no sign of stopping.
The state's snowpack, which typically provides about a third of the water for its farms and residents, remains at its lowest level in history.

But it’s all for the best. These are what is really important.

LOL! I think the explorers came through NV first. Therefore, I claim ALL of Lake Tahoe for the state of NV. Probably won’t make the Coasties too happy since it’s currently considered an inter-state waterway.
I’m not denying its a drought, but some of those file pics of say Oroville where in August...and I can attest that Shasta and Oroville were filled much much higher after December rain. IF California doesnt get rain next year and the next, it will get really really bad, but I also read predictions for a very strong El Nino coming. This cycle has been going on for ever though...the Democrats who California really screwed the state up...filling it with illegals and drying up new dam projects. Stupid liberals with their heads in the clouds...not rain clouds.
.........and lightning strikes to take out moonbeam and all his fellow gaia,Huitzilopochtli and Quetzalcoatl worshipping co-conspirators!
Californicators, eh? I'm curious what derogatory name do you have for all the people in your state?
If California was even remotely serious about addressing the drought they would start first by reducing demand. Kick out all illegal aliens. That would save them likely half the water demand.
Protecting minnows over millions of acres of agriculture and people....only a moronic, brain-dead liberal could fathom such a thing. They have no business in government. California or anywhere. Instead, they all belong in an insane asylum.
Well, It isn’t a pretty picture, but it’s no nearly so problematic as this article suggests. Here is and interactive data map of all of the major reservoirs in the state. You can call up any year you want. If you look at the current graph it shows today’s level superimposed on the average level and lines showing the worst and best years on record. This draught isn’t anywhere near the one in 1977 ( which was followed by the wettest year in history in 1978). This draught should be called the Jerry Brown Draught because he’s steadfastly refused to add reservoir capacity, preferring to kiss the a$$es of the so-called “environmentalists.” This turd has single-handedly caused this problem. He’s turned out to be a much bigger POS than his father, who broke the POS meter when he was governor.

I just watched Chinatown on Netflix about the California water wars during the 1930s. Interesting.
There is a problem no doubt, but a good number of these phots and their captions are just plain bolshevik.

When did they start making urinal cakes big enough for the liberal toilet that is California?
This was build near me beginning in 1999 and was completed in 2003. The Project included three dams.

My cousin is working on a dam project in Calaveras County. Seems like they are using the low water to rebuild a dam. More needs to be done but nothing new in the last 40 years isn’t true.
That is the mother lode of the urinal cake mines.
Yes but the microscopic minnows, endangered amoeba, swimming pools and golf courses are still getting all the water they need.
Well, here in Northern Illinois we have water up the wazoo. It’s been raining since Friday, and the ground is saturated. All the lawns are green, green, green. Flowers are blooming. Temps in the mid-60s today.
IIRC, the electricity on both sides of the state lines at Hoover are split to the respective state and California gets some from one or the other or both. I also seem to remember something about a really long canal from Meade or thereabouts going onto California too.
Moonbeam was governor 1,200 years ago. He is the source of the data.
This is what ENVIRONMENTALIST WHACKOS have done to this state.
And .. they are led by Gov Brown.
There was a 2,000 year drought in the past 1,200 year?
