In the Western popular imagination -- particularly the American one -- World War II is a conflict we won. It was fought on the beaches of Normandy and Iwo Jima, through the rubble of recaptured French towns and capped by sepia-toned scenes of joy and young love in New York. It was a victory shaped by the steeliness of Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower, the moral fiber of British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, and the awesome power of an atomic bomb.

Let me guess: all the ordnance and supplies we got from the mighty Soviet economy finally enabled us to launch a second front, just in time to make it look we were doing something.
They defeated the competition for the “Bloodthirsty Regime of the Century” award.
its a team work, like in basketball. Americans scored the final basket to win the match, but couldn’t haver done it without the other players
I won’t forget how the Soviet Union conspired with Hitler to divide Poland and start WWII.
Could WE have a break?
Except without the United States, the other players couldn’t have fielded a team.
Don’t forget the Soviet Union was Hitler’s ally and made it possible for him to try to conquer the world.
Franklin Diablo Roosevelt shackled the military as WWII was drawing to a close. That would have been a golden opportunity to utterly destroy the USSR. FDR, being a marxist, couldn’t see his beloved communist nation overthrown. As Senator Joseph McCarthy later conclusively proved, the corrupt Roosevelt regime was teeming with commies.
The Soviet Union was also responsible for propaganda in the U.S. to get the U.S. to stay out of the war and calling FDR and imperialist who was war-mongering Germany.
Ahhhh yes the revisionist insight from a typical commie. Don’t let facts get in theway
Meanwhile, with its other fist, the USA destroyed Imperial Japan.
I’ve still never seen one picture ever of our troops in tuxes and tails as they waltzed through token resistance in Europe like these stories always try to tell us.
In these tales they always leave out the Russian punishment battalions which had one responsibility of clearing mine fields by walking through them, shooting their own troops if they didn’t attack, and sending in two soldiers with one gun. The survivors would then pick up the guns from dead. They were set up for huge casualties in every campaign.
If the Soviets had not left Russia after they wore out Hitler, we still would have beaten the pants off Hitler without them.
And until that time, the American left opposed America getting involved in any way.
Mark
The claim also is that the soviets won the war in the pacific.
Lol.
Without the war production of American Factories, Germany would have won WW2 easily.
Buried by Soviet propaganda after WW2 is that somewhere between 200-400 US-built Lee’s, Shermans, and Grants were engaged at the Battle of Kursk, in 1943.
They called the M3 Lee “the Coffin for seven brothers”, and felt the Sherman was inferior to the T-34. (it was).
Almost all of the ammunition (made with 26 million pounds of U.S.-provided Glycerin) used at Kursk was delivered in American-built trucks.
These facts about American (and British) aid to the Russians became an Inconvenient truth in the propaganda war after the end of WW2.
What cannot be denied, however, is that while we did the building, they did the dying. In massive, unbelievable numbers.
And that kinda fell apart when Germany declared war on the U.S.
Hitler won WWII. The Dutch are murdering themselves almost as fast as Hitler murdered them. Same all over Western Europe and North America. The Hitlerians are organized as Planned Parenthood, the Democrat party, the “Sustainable Development” movement, the global warming hoax industry, etc.
