‘Kill The Gays’ Author Plans To Get Hate Law On Ballot Without Gathering Signatures
CBS San Francisco ^ | May 8, 2015

In a bizarre legal twist in a jaw-droppingly hateful proposal that calls into question the entire California ballot initiative process, the author of a bill proposing murdering California’s gays may ask a court to place his proposal on the ballot without gathering a single signature other than his own.

In a letter quoted in the San Francisco Chronicle, Matt McLaughlin writes to the state attorney general, “Take notice that if your office and the California secretary of state refuse to clear the Sodomite Suppression Act for signature circulation, I may demand as remedy that it be placed on the election ballot directly.”

California Attorney General Kamala Harris is required by law to issue a title and summary for proposed initiatives after the filer pays the $200 fee. Then, the organizer can gather the 366,000 signatures needed to place it on the ballot for a public vote.

Your post is almost exactly what Mrs. RQSR was just saying to me about this guy. She thinks that’s exactly what the guy is doing.

Well whoever it is, if it gets on the ballot I’d bet the percentage of “yes” votes will be substantial. The vast majority of people are sick and tired of their whining bull$#!+ and may vote in favor as a symbolic upraised middle finger.

There was an order for the extermination of Mormons in Missouri from the mid 1800’s until the 1980’s when it was repealed

You have to wonder about the hysterics if it actually got on the ballot. A surprising number of people might vote for it as the only means available to them to protest out of control federal judges and the gay agenda being forced on the public.

And they could do so knowing that the law is unconstitutional on its face. So it is just a means by which perhaps millions of people could finally get their say, and not get shouted down or threatened in the process.

So the bottom line would be a very loud signal to the government to quit bowing and scraping before the homosexuals.

I'm betting he's militant gay, and this is a "false flag" op to manufacture victimhood.

That's the first thing that came to my mind when I saw this news item.

Of course he is, and of course it is. I say let him get his signatures and let it be placed on the ballot. He may regret his decision to be a complete ass.

He doesn't want to get the signatures. He wants it all done anonymously so that there's no evidence trail to prove it's a ruse.

Either that, or maybe he’s from the Westboro crew, who doesn’t give a #$%^$ about how their all-out actions and rants effect others.

“Unconstitutional laws are null and void,”

Isn’t murder up to the states to define?

Yes and no. Since the 14th amendment, it is considered a "civil rights violation" and so therefore the Federal government believes it has jurisdiction, at least if it comes to a group that the Fedgov regards as "persecuted."

I guarantee, if such a law was passed, the Fedgov would step in and prohibit it as a "civil rights" violation.

False flag is correct my FRiend, gives the LGBTXYZ’s ammunition to say “ look at what these Nazi Christian Republicans want to do to us. “
Which is why we need to loudly condemn offensive and abhorrent nonsense like this. Don't give those false flag claims any hint of legitimacy.

“calls into question the entire California ballot initiative process”

That is it’s actual purpose, to discredit the concept of ballot initiatives and referenda (because “some things shouldn’t be up for a vote”).
