The terrorist group says they will murder Pamela Geller and kill anyone who shields her. The terrorists also say they have 71 fighters in 15 different states and they 23 have signed up already for missions like the failed Sunday attack in Garland, Texas.

The disbelievers who shot our brothers think that you killed someone untrained, nay, they gave you their bodies in plain view because we were watching.

I don't have any doubt that trained terrorists could wreak havoc in a variety of ways, but it seems odd that they throw "trained ... brothers and sisters fighting for the Sake of Allah" at one woman who, in the grand scheme of "The Great Satan" isn't a factor.

Going after satirists and cartoonists is consistent with the terrorist edict "the future does not belong to those who slander the Prophet of Islam" and that philosophy's concomitant attacks in Paris and across Europe, but attacking Geller is unlikely to be asymmetrical given the layers of security, nor is it likely to be disruptive in a general way.

I live near Wisconsin, were SWAT teams were sent to terrorize political dissidents. They were just following orders, and to date the ones who have talked to the local press defend their actions by saying it was their job.

I also live near Illinois, where some politicians were attacking the lady that started the Mo cartoon festival for “hate crimes”, and how “We would NEVER allow that type of insensitive display here!”

Not all cops are Nazi’s, but a large number of them will follow orders. If citizens start defending themselves against threats on a large scale, the reaction by many in power will not be “Good job!” but “WE HAVE TO STOP THEM! THEY ARE DOING OUR JOB!”

When you add in the stated goal of Obambi to make a national police force.. well can you understand why I am getting rather skeptical?

I am as sick of police excess as anyone, but I am not ready to paint all police as Nazis.

I may be overreacting, but I am sick of seeing all our police and military repeatedly slandered on a conservative site. Innocent until proven guilty goes for both sides. Call out the bad, but support the good.

Last evening my lib neighbor stopped by(while I was taking out the trash) and asked what I thought of the Garland shooting. I said that good on the cop. I expected her to start with the lib spew about baiting etc. Instead she asked if there were similar shooters capable of taking out two active bad guys in our hood. I said “No, it is up to you to look out for your own safety.” She asked “why?”. This is a vicious Kalifornia transplant woman who has denigrated me and others for gun ownership for years. I will not lift a trigger finger to protect her. Her kids yea but her no.
