He still makes my skin crawl.
unctuous
You might know the idea of the adjective unctuous by other words like “oily,” “smarmy,” or overly “flattering.” When a person is unctuous, you can’t trust their kindness, because they usually want something in return.
Interestingly, unctuous is derived from the Latin unctus which means “anointed with oil,” which is where the “oily” connotation comes from. Unctuous and “oily” are synonyms that both suggest that someone is trying to butter you up; they’re being nice, because they’re hoping you’ll give them what they want. Talk-show hosts, used-car salesmen, people who want your job: all of these are people we think of (rightly or wrongly) as being unctuous. Being an unctuous jerk, he gave me a gift, hoping I’d give him a record deal.

He should have started much earlierWrong.
People aren't going to make up their minds until Summer 2016, if then.

Huck's here to dilute the evangelical vote and act as RINO's attack dog against conservative candidates in upcoming debates, on cue.
I really don't like this guy.

If nothing else, he is a proponent of the FAIR TAX and getting rid of the IRS. I know it will take a Constitutional amendment, but it is a start.

Another blocker for Bush enters the fray.
Whatever it takes for The Cheap Labor Express to prevent us from electing a President who will stop the invasion/cheap labor importation/colonization.

He will be taken seriously by those who care about moral and religious issues. I'm one of those "moral issues" voters.
I don't take Huckabee seriously. Even a little bit.

Exactly. He’s in for the folks whose idea of vetting a candidate involves “I Love Jesus, and Mike Loves Jesus, and he’s the guy for me!”
Sadly I think the likes of Huckabee and Santorum may lead us to candidate Bush and President Hillary.

I heard him taking a shot at Cruz, Rubio and Walker - saying anyone in office should resign before running.

Hes nowhere near a good candidate for our side, but he is better than any democrat Fidel Castro would be a move to the right vs Obama.

I don't think that'll be possible this time, as this time there is an alternative choice for these folks, one who obviously has a better shot at the nomination.
Another reason it was a good thing Cruz got out there early.
