The Marxists don’t care. That want to kill the system, not improve it.

Let the ones that have a major in a discipline that is worth something borrow the money - they’ll be able to pay it back. The rest? Let them borrow the money and be in debt for the rest of their lives. Maybe they’ll learn Democrats don’t care about them. Only their votes.

The real minimum wage is $0.00.
Libs don't get that.

Were these same students protesting for a $15/hour wage? If so pardon my schadenfreude.

Well that didn’t work. Let’s try raising the minimum wage 20 dollars. /S

Screw that. Let’s make everybodies wage $100,000/year and if they’re extra lazy, give ‘em and extra $50,000 bonus. Now that’s REAL equality. (Do you remember working for $1.25/hr?)

Those liberal arts degrees should be replaced by business degrees for Washington politicians. Anyone who has even taken Econ 201, which is a must for a Business degree and those with a major in Econ knows that if you raise the cost of any of the factors of production- prices will most likely be raised. All the taxes on businesses coupled with more regs and mandates and 15 an hour =’ s higher cost/prices.

Marxist Economics 101.
The state government fails the quiz.
To: rktman
Of course it is. We all knew it, we all tried to say so, but our socialist city councilwoman has everybody running scared. She’s some sort of cult hero out here. She’s another one I “mute” whenever I see her face on TV.

Good! I hope the economic suffering increases. Anything to wake people up to liberalism’s lies.
To: rktman
Duh! Make it $20, then the students can afford the higher prices caused by the $15 minimum wage.

Wait, raising the cost of labor by 107% destroys business margins?
Wow, math hurts.
To: rktman
Unfortunately, the low information voters and the politicians don't see this as an economics issue. They see this as an evil “rich” business (Republican) not willing to “pay their fair share”.
You can say the same about Obamacare. The obamacare law is absolutely destroying our healthcare system and even with it really impacting a lot of these low information voters, liberals and dems they think the problem is with the rich evil republicans not willing to pay their fair share.
To: SMARTY
I still think they should make it a hundred dollars an hour and get this over with quicker... Why kill businesses this slowly?
