Her campaign barely three weeks old, Hillary Clinton already has been attacked by Republicans on everything from donations to her familys charitable foundation, to her tenure as secretary of state and her ties to Wall Street. But her rivals, and the political action committees that support them, are treading more carefully on one incendiary subject: her age . If elected in November 2016, Clinton would be, at 69, the second-oldest person to take the presidential oath for the first time, behind only Ronald Reagan, who turned 70 weeks after being sworn into office in 1981.
Questions of health and fitness for the presidency dogged two former candidates of a similar age, Bob Dole in the 1996 election and John McCain in 2008, each of whom was 71 at this point in the race. Time magazine featured Dole on the cover asking whether he was too old for the job. McCain was so determined to show that he was healthy that he often put in back-breaking campaign days.
I do think age is an issue in a presidential campaign, said Steve Schmidt, who was McCains campaign manager. There is a thin line between seasoned and decrepit.

I don’t understand how a 75 year old woman can hope to be the choice of millennials. That’s two generations removed from their reality.
I KNEW Ronald reagan and you’re no Ronald Reagan.
OLD & TIRED
Her age is the least of them.
Let’s make it a point to harp on her age then.
She aint in no ways tired
They have no clue WHAT an American is and because of the subliminal indoctrination that they are American by birth with NO instruction explaining their reality, they accept almost everything else as an innate right
Thus, it is the right to be gay, left, with health care, college indoctrination, etc.
So the understanding that a person of age deserves respect for their wisdom is non existent, because the the whole concept of wisdom is never taught nor is it implied in anything that might be referred to as education
I don't think the cankled beast has a chance, but I still have trepidation about how the election will turn out
Kids come out of high school with no clue WHAT a Republican or Democrat IS and will either use the leftist flavor of the month of fall back on the safe "I'm a democrat because mom and dad are democrats" ... thus relieving them of any thought process
Ask the kid at the check out counter who they plan to vote for ... "Wha ? .... I don't vote"
The general public says outright that she’s a boozed up old grannie.
crudy
Remember how the left tried to savage Reagan about being too old and senile?
That Nancy Reagan had to tell him what to say?
It’s pretty rich for the party of Romney, McCain, Dole, Poppy and Ronny to run against Hill’s age.
There are so many better reasons for her not to be president.
Rode hard and put away wet.
Is Bill dating again ?
Communist leaders are routinely very old. They don’t have to be mentally adroit, as the communist apparatus they oversea pretty much runs itself.
I disagree; I think her age is very important. Unlike Reagan, she is neither fit nor dynamic. She looks and acts old and decrepit, hag-toothed, weezened, bent over, past it, wrinkled, faded and fading more, addled, confused, directionless, muddled, disoriented, distracted, increasingly infirm, just a few of the descriptors of a person well past her prime. You have to have a certain energy level to do this job and she ain’t got it.
