Thousands of black people are happily celebrating the decision announced today to charge six officers in the death of Freddie Gray, but they may be disappointed when they find out that three of the six are African-American!

And the bottom left is the driver, who was the only person charged with murder. So black people are celebrating that three blacks have been charged in the death of a black drug dealer, because they want to defeat racism. Yeah that makes total sense.

So wait...they are burning down Baltimore to protest black on black crime?
Probably. The cops should stop serving the bad neighborhoods and let them police themselves. It would be Mogadishu in America within a month.

If the Baltimore Police Department is 48% black, then, allowing that surely there are Asian and Latino officers, the blacks may be the largest percentage of police officers.

You’re probably right, seeing as Baltimore is such a large city, with more ethnic groups available for recruitment.
My mom was a cop and my cozen was a cop in Baltimore County.
God Bless both of them. Working behind the walls of a prison was a whole lot easier than working on the streets.

I told a Baltimore Police officer off duty a few months ago that I thanked him and the officers of the Baltimore Police Department for their service and for sticking their necks out to protect us, the public.
I told him that there are more people on their side than they think.
You know what he said to me ?
This was a black police officer.
He said , you don’t realize how much that means to him and the other officers in the force.
I told him to tell that to all the police.
I retired in 2002 and I have only one regret — I should have done it 10 years sooner. ;>)
I enjoyed my 30 years, but I am very happy to be out of it.

So what if it turns out that one of the black cops killed Gray because he was queer?
Then what happens?
The race of these six cops prove what I’ve been saying all along. This isn’t about white cops against blacks. It’s about ALL cops against the citizenry. I’d bet there are plenty of cases of whites getting beaten and even killed while in police custody but the press only covers the black victims.

I try to thank the police, fire fighters military service men and women for their service.
It means a whole lot to them when they hear it from a civilian.
I once thanked a Congressional Metal of Honor vet for his service in the Korean War.
