Baltimore crowds celebrate tough charges against police Last
Baltimore: Residents of impoverished West Baltimore erupted in jubilation and relief Friday after authorities charged six officers in the death in custody of a young African American man.
Many had been parading through riot-scarred neighborhoods and chanting the victim`s name as security forces nervously looked on.
"Baltimore people, we did it!" shouted 18-year-old John Johnson. "Justice needs to be served!"
Cars streamed down West North Avenue in a cacophony of horns, as a man wearing a t-shirt that read "I Bleed Baltimore" thrust his fists into the air and cheered.
The community has been on edge since this week`s violent riots left several buildings in flames, stores looted, more than a dozen police officers injured and dozens of people arrested.
But residents into the streets to vent their relief at the beginning of a judicial process that could see accountability for the death of Freddie Gray in police custody.
"This is long overdue," Dexter Dillard, 47, told AFP at the corner of West North and Pennsylvania avenues, where a large pharmacy was looted and burned Monday in the worst rioting in Baltimore since the late 1960s.

And no matter what happens i.e. exonerated or convicted, more riots ...
Gang members flashing gang signals, weapons in hand??? Really??? These optics are terrible. Certainly not the type of optics they want to convey to the world, are they???
I would expect, unfortunately, that if they are acquitted, that it would set the stage for more riots.
This still won’t satisfy them. Evil is never satisfied.
They will party allll weekend and them some, how many bros will die from each other and overdose this weekend, yeah justice, wake up guys they are playing you.
I guess the Soros’ thugs are out of a job....for now.
Imagine how bad the rioting will be when the most serious charges are thrown out of the officers are acquitted of them.
They can do whatever the bleep they want.
Can destroy major cities, with no repercussion, mayor lets them do millions in damages, and she won’t be held accountable. Because she is black.

Time to start getting tough with ALL criminals. A city where someone can get busted 28 times and still walk free has some serious issues. This guy was destined for failure.

This is going to jeopardize the prosecution’s case, because that statement, along with others she made, reeks of political stink.
Many times after sports teams win championships the new media calls the subsequent riots - “HAPPY RIOTS”. as an excuse for the wanton destruction of property.
I foresee the media calling these upcoming riots “HAPPY RIOTS”.
Most likely the Mayor will order the police to STAND DOWN and allow the HAPPY RIOTERS to vent and destroy property wantonly in a designated place authorized by the mayor.
He was not shot, so why disarm, soooo stupid who tells them what to say? If Darren Wilson would have been unarmed, gentle giant would have beat him to death.
