Never heard of the thefourthestate.co
Are they legit?
I don’t know what t make of this one way or the other.
I do know that it is generally not wise to jump on the outrage of the day bandwagon in Obama’s America.
We have investigations for a reason.
Riots have no reason.
The police man handled him.. He was riding a bike when they got him...but you see him unable to walk as they took him into the police van ... Even if the surgery came into play they exacerbated it..
Hey Obama.... I think You should do some “soul searching”, punk ass.
The purpose of the structured settlement was to give him a stream of income over a number of years because otherwise he would piss it all away. Which he was in the process of trying to do.
and I'm sure everyone connected to a mike knew...
I'm sure someone in his family screamed....he just have surgery....he was doin' good
Doctor's rx says no rigorous activity for 6 weeks?? Was he doped up on Codeine??
No one seems to know the whole story.
Loretta will figure it out.
In the meantime, the little bas***** wrecked a city.
If you look at the court record at the link...it looks more like Freddie Gray is the defendant and the Peachtree financial company was probably a debt collector for Allstate. They were likely trying to get a structured resettlement from Freddie on behalf of Allstate.
Story at link stinks.
Sad story, the kids were born premature and they all had high amounts of lead, etc. His mom can't read, didn't go to high school, and was/is a drug user.
I wouldn't want anyone raised like that.
Ohhh yeah. How’s that “soul searching” going Obama? Why don’t you try it?
Wow someone is combing through his life like he’s a conservative candidate.
So, the worst action of the police may have been that they failed to accommodate F. G.s injury.
Like zimmerman and ferguson the facts come slowly
Personal responsibility is simply non-existent these days.
First, the point about a previous spinal surgery is based on unnamed sources who present no evidence. It's also contrary to common sense - if he had a preexisting spinal condition that could have resulted in the injuries that he suffered (three fractured vertebrae and a crushed larynx), there is no way he would have been up and riding his bike a week after surgery.
Second, just a few minutes of digging around makes clear that the Allstate settlement had NOTHING to do with any vehicle accident or spinal injury. A quick search of the Maryland court records shows that Freddie Gray's twin sister, Fredericka Gray (creative naming, right?) also had a structured settlement with Allstate that Peachtree was trying to purchase:
Some further digging reveals news articles that refer to a lawsuit brought by Freddie and Fredericka Gray against the owner of a building where they lived growing up, alleging that they were harmed by lead paint in the building. (Source.) According to the article, the Grays entered into a settlement with the former landlord, whose name is Stanley Rochkind.
Finally, some further digging reveals that Allstate Insurance Company has sued Rochkind. Turns out that Rochkind has an umbrella insurance policy with Allstate, and that Allstate has sued Rochkind in order to determine whether the insurance policy required Allstate to pay a claim to related to a different lead paint lawsuit brought against Rochkind:
Taken together, it is pretty clear that the Allstate structured settlement was related to the lead paint lawsuit, not to any previous spinal injury.
In other words, the story at link is complete and utter horseshiat.
It’s my money and I want it now!
The reason they kept this silence is they were struggling to find something good to say about the dead thug.
When you really love your career it’s hard to stay away from the job.
So far no credible sources for this; it’s just bouncing around in the ultra-right blogosphere echo chamber:
