Ted Cruz is a brilliant individual with a star-studded list of accomplishments and a conservative resume that put his competition to shame.
See here: https://www.tedcruz.org/record/
If you absorb what you see there, and, if you are a true conservative, you will support Ted Cruz.
Sadly, Cochran doesn’t possess the faculties to conspire.
McConnell, Cornyn, the Barbours, his staff, etc. were behind the shenanigans.
They smeared conservatives in order to hold onto a guy who belongs in a drool bib, not the US senate.
Before running for Senator he was Solicitor General of Texas. He argued nine cases before the Supreme Court and won several landmark decisions. As Solicitor General he was in charge of 4000 employees and 700 lawyers.
Before that he worked for the Federal Regulatory Commission where he worked diligently to remove regulations from businesses. He has worked as a attorney for the NRA.
His impressive resume has been posted here a number of times.
He graduated from Princeton and Harvard Law School with honors and was a debate champion at Princeton where a debate event has been named for him. He has an I.Q. of 145, 15 points higher than required for Mensa.
He is one of a handful of Senators that sponsored bills that were passed during the reign of Harry Reid, who allowed virtually nothing to pass the Senate.
Definitely several reasons why he would be a great Attorney General.
My Good LORD! They are posted here EVER DAY? Do you need him to have single handedly have won WWII?
B.S.!!!
The vote was 56-43. Seven of ten RINO traitors would have had to switch, and Ted Cruz would have had to remain in the Senate in order to defeat the confirmation. Even with Ted, if only six had voted no, Joe "The Molester" Biden would have made the deciding vote.

Ted Cruz is currently junior US Senator from Texas. In order to win the 2012 Republican nomination for the Senate seat vacated by Kay Bailey Hutchison, Cruz had to defeat Texas Lieutenant Governor David Dewhurst -heavily favored/backed by the DC old-guard GOP- in the Republican primary runoff. In the event, TEA Party favorite Cruz crushed Dewhurst, 57-43%...he then beat Democrat Paul Sadler in the general election by a similar margin, 56-41. Cruz is also endorsed by the Tea Party Movement and the Republican Liberty Caucus.

What accomplishments are you looking for in a leader? A lifetime of “government service”?
Ted Cruz is the most qualified presidential candidate since Ronald Reagan. In my book the only qualification needed is a deep abiding love for this country and a commitment to the ideals of the founders and the constitution.
The fact that he is the smartest and most eloquent candidate since Thomas Jefferson is just frosting on the cake.
I suppose you are looking for a Governor, like Jimmy Carter or Bill Clinton? I’m sure they were qualified in your book.
Opps - late to the party - see my post 28.
No WWII though. But what has impressed me more than some list, is seeing him during his marathon speech against obamacare. He “gets it” when it comes to conservatism, and I believe he has the ability to rally those around him to that cause. It is those beliefs and ideals that will make him a great president.
Aside from the odorous conceit of a newbie poster calling itself ‘Regal’, I am reluctant to respond to someone that hasn’t taken a few minutes to do a search on Ted Cruz’ accomplishments. But other readers will gain from a response so this is for them.
Ted Cruz’ resume of accomplishments ***before*** he came to the District of Corruption is unequaled among all contenders of any party or position. A few minutes of searching the internet reveals his pre-Congress accomplishments to be of such magnitude as to remove all doubt as to his ability to serve as President and Commander-in-Chief.
Ted Cruz’ accomplishments ***after*** he was elected to US Senator are revealed in the actions he took, the votes he made, the amendments and legislation he wrote and introduced, and the numerous amicus curiae he has written for crucial court cases. All of these things are backed by an enormous amount of work. Only a strong and powerful individual could be so pervasive in work product in such a short time.
Ted Cruz has also worked tirelessly and successfully in reviving the spirit of true conservatism. That’s an enormous accomplishment in itself. If you don’t think so, try it yourself and see how far you get. I guarantee that by evidence of the vacuity of your remarks, you won’t be able to lift an ounce of the conservative movement that Ted Cruz holds up day after day.
And lastly this quote:
“The measure of a conservative in Washington, who went to “make DC listen” as Cruz’s twitter hashtag suggests, cannot be “what have you done for me,” but must be “what have you stopped from being done to me.””
http://www.nola.com/politics/index.ssf/2015/03/ted_cruz_president.html
And I predict with fully reasoned confidence that President Cruz will leave behind a legacy of what he stopped from being done against the US Constitution as well as what he did to restore its true spirit and exceptional qualities.
He’s at least expressed a sincere love of Country. The other POS’s can’t say that and their accomplishments are geared toward the destruction of this Country.
American Justice GOT Lynched..
As for as I am concerned, Loretta Lynch is a Republican appointed AG. Without the help of the traitors, this could have never been done.
Excellent smack down of the noobie Hos! These DUmmie plant trolls are not fooling anyone.
The problem is not that Cruz lacks accomplishments.
The problem is that his many accomplishments are obscured by the shaking, sweating and blurred vision experienced by leftists and establishment types as a result of the fear he inspires in them.
Cruz has fantastics credentials as an attorney and has fought, and won for conservative rulings in court, but he has no executive experience at all. Why not use the talent we have in the jobs for which they are best suited. Are we really so hard up for leadership that we will try to force a round peg in a square hole? But, unitl Cruz’s popularity rises above the teens in the polls, it is all academic anyway.
Your premise reflects a major intellectual flaw. Surely it’s not your fault—you’re merely trusting convention.
The flaw is that nobody has really done the intellectual legwork to analyze which particular duties of the presidency somebody like Ted Cruz would be unable to perform.
The answer: there are none.
If this is wrong, you will be able to name those duties, then explain the skills needed to perform them and finally demonstrate how Cruz lacks the particular skills.
The key here—you have to get specific. Otherwise you’re just spouting nonsense.
Ted Cruz’ address is a must watch. Soon, all of us will be faced with a simple choice: surrender to this lawless regime, with all that implies or heroic resistance no matter what the cost.
Choose this day whom you would serve.
