Cruz has fantastics credentials as an attorney and has fought, and won for conservative rulings in court, but he has no executive experience at all. Why not use the talent we have in the jobs for which they are best suited. Are we really so hard up for leadership that we will try to force a round peg in a square hole? But, unitl Cruz’s popularity rises above the teens in the polls, it is all academic anyway.
Your premise reflects a major intellectual flaw. Surely it’s not your fault—you’re merely trusting convention.
The flaw is that nobody has really done the intellectual legwork to analyze which particular duties of the presidency somebody like Ted Cruz would be unable to perform.
