Ted Cruz knocks it out of the park again.
Ted was on with Martha MacCallum this morning who grilled him on getting independents versus just sticking with the base. MacCallum started with the premise that Cruz is too conservative but he refuted that nonsense and told her that hes already seeing a wider coalition of voters including Reagan Democrats and independents among his supporters. But she still insisted on sticking with her premise, asking Cruz if he even wants the independent vote. Cruz responded that of course he wants independents. He explained to MacCallum, as he as told others in the past, that his common sense principles are something that most Americans can agree on and that will draw independents as well as conservatives.
MacCallum also asked him about his comments on concealed carry on military bases and that he had been pressing McCain, and that McCain says he doesnt remember being pressed by Cruz. He admitted that he may have misspoke in saying hes been pressing McCain, as hes been pressing the Senate Armed Services Committee and that McCain is the new Chairman of that committee.

” FOX News HATES conservatives, and pushes
SOROS-Romney via RINOs Hume, Wallace, and liar Rove.”
Why I quit watching years ago.
Murdoch is a pro amnesty globalist who is only in America for the money. Good con man, though

Why bother? Former Reaganite Ailes sold out to Murdoch for 35 million a year. Keep looking

Fox News Loves Hillary[.]
I get it. You don't have a television set. Or if you do, you don't watch Fox News. Or if you do watch Fox News, you don't understand it. Which is it? And by the way, I'd like some proof to back your statement. Otherwise, people might think there's some trolling going on here.

FOX is confusing ‘moderates’ and ‘independents’...many independents are conservatives who got sick and tired of the GOP...

This is the first time I’ve seen a public figure say he misspoke and, when it’s explained, makes complete sense. Usually it means they fabricated something, i.e. “He admitted that he may have misspoke in saying hes been pressing McCain, as hes been pressing the slacks he bought in McCain’s state.”

The problem with McCullum is she is equating (as is most of the driveby media) independents with moderates. Many moderates are independent voters, but most are democrat or democrat leaning.
Many independents are conservative, or are open to support conservatives, but just not Republicans who are CINO (Conservative In Name Only).
Of course the Leftists in the democrat party and media (and yes, I understand they are the same) hope that independent=moderate=democrat voter.

Anyone can tell me how to send a complaint to Roger Ailes?
Writing to Ailes would be no less futile than the Soviet political prisoners who penned appeals to Stalin, thinking it all must be a misunderstanding, and that Stalin wouldn't have put up with the wholesale slaughter of good Soviet citizens, had he known. The problem was -- he was the one behind it all.
Fox news is worse than worthless. MSNBC has more value to conservatives than Fox. While both are ardent foes of conservatism and the constitution, at least MSNBC doesn't fool conservative-leaning people into thinking that they are on their side. Fox, on the other hand, is the traitor in your foxhole, doing far more damage to the side they pretend to be on, than the damage inflicted by the declared enemy.

Does it never occur to the so-called “news” media — that many, many independent voters are conservatives?

Thanks for posting this. I didn’t view Martha as being contentious at all. Cruz took a nice little shot at McCain for being “always good for a good quote.”

I watched that entire interview this morning and commented to my husband that, every time I listen to Ted Cruz, I like him even more!
And that is exactly why the GOP-E, FoxNews, and everyone and everything to the left absolutely quake in fear at the candidacy of Ted Cruz and will do everything in their power to stop him.

Exactly! The premise that being independent means that you are moderate is entirely fictional. I am registered independent because the Republican Party left me as a conservative long ago.
