When I first read of this story a few days ago, I was cheering this woman. But, now that I have read of her own desecration of the flag, I just think she is an attention addict.
She ought to respect private property.
Wait a minute. Where do you get the idea that she desecrated the flag herself? Explain
Well, her actions constitute free speech or am I missing something here?
So you are okay with people stepping on the flag?
What has become of our country?
Indeed
Sorry, but stepping on the flag has nothing to do with free speech
Reading that, I can see the dilemna.
But the thing is, she was willing to storm the ramparts and face down a protest single-handed, much like Andy Breitbart did.
And she also made the college take a stand - which they typically went Left.
Where is that gem of a picture showing a bikini clad coed doing cartwheels on the beach...?
Iirc she posed nude, with either a flag or her uniform strewn on the ground, in Playboy’s “Girls of the US Military” issue.

Here’s one shot of her Playboy spread that got her reprimanded while she was in the service - dragging the flag on the ground:

Female piglet with too much authority protects anti American students
Google Michelle Manhart and select images
She is a nude model, nude body paint model
I am glad she did what she did, but I wont march with her
Looks like an ISIS supporter.
Banished for life from a public campus?
Bullshiite.
Not as long as she is paying taxes for that institution.
An Indiana legislator should attach a rider to a bill that rescinds that order.
Here's a 2008 video of an appalling "art" project at the University of Maine.
This woman is a liberal nutjob. Just confused, because she served in the USAF. If she hadn’t, she would have joined in on stomping on the flag.
