Baptist connections, correct?
From the Conwell information:
In 1876 he formally committed to the ministry, becoming the full-time pastor of a frail Baptist church in Lexington, Mass., immediately reviving it and putting it on its feet financially. Conwell was formally ordained in 1879 at the Newton Seminary.
“Yes, sir! I am now medically disqualified from the service because my feet were ruined in that stunt last April. So I am not able to accept a commission. But thanks for the full ride for my college education and the extra beer money! See ya!”
It’s a common “awareness” campaign. I was in Ohio last year this time and a minor league baseball team did it. Had a guy try to run bases in heels. No big deal. Nothing sexual, or deviant about it. Nothing to see here.
Wow, imagine the pictures of this in Russia or Iran.
Think that is going to make them respect or feat America?
By the way, what stunt are they going to do to bring awareness of soldiers who have been sexually harassed by Gays?
Except every day it gets worse.
ping-a-ding.
This is just so much sh!t...
I would have refused to wear heels.
That’s so wrong. Everyone knows with the combat uniform they’re authorized to wear flats.
Why not just wear standard ROTC uniforms? this is just stupid.
well I contacted my reps and asked that the entire ROTC command be fired. Not just the commanding general, all officers O6 and above at ROTC HQ need to be fired. Jailed would be better.
General Combs has not been given her say and so I shall not blame her yet, but this is absolutely disgusting, degrading, and deliberately humiliating. And I'd say the same thing if the cadets were women. There needs to be a top-down purge of the PC in all of the armed services and it needs to be ruthless and complete.
Bump
They ought to make the Colonel who made this damnable decision wear a tutu with his boots. And if he refuses, bust his a$$ down to private.
