I had no idea the three female engineers down the hall were prostitutes or maids.
When they were building the Alaska pipeline a friend of my dad’s said if he was a woman he would head for Alaska and make his F’n fortune. ;^)
According to Wikipedia, Sandra Steingraber “..is an American biologist, author, and cancer survivor in the tradition of Rachel Carson. Steingraber writes and lectures on the environmental factors that contribute to reproductive health problems and environment.” She’s 57 so she’s way past her prime ....

What about wives of Oil Workers? Mothers of their children? teachers? Nurses in the expanded hospitals? Lots of Jobs besides roustabouts.
