On March 24th the YouTube channel Model Pranksters elected to upload the following video to their channel, and it becomes a prank gone horribly wrong.
They apparently thought it would be a wise idea to travel to Kentucky, dress up as the murderer from the Scream movies, hide in the darkness, pop out with what appears to be a rifle, and point it at innocent people. Watch what happens when he chooses the wrong guy to scare, and then nearly wets himself.
I wish I could say I laughed at that video while watching it, but I didnt. Frankly I found it extremely dangerous, and disturbing. I think I speak for most concealed carriers when I say, that prankster is very lucky to still be walking this Earth. Most law-abiding gun owners wouldnt have hesitated to start sending groups of lead in his direction, and it wouldve been No Billed and justified. The fact that he was actually pointing what appears to be a rifle at innocent and unsuspecting people could actually be construed as Terroristic Threatening in the Third Degree under KY state law. Theres some pranks that you just dont do.
I think its a fake but if it wasn’t a fake, why would they do such a thing with fancy ladies around on the streets and obviously some hood type people, who usually have guns...
No doubt. It’s almost mandatory.
Yeah, I’m not certain that the “officer” is legit.
Prank my ass...
That’s a death wish!
This was a seriously moronic idea. He’s lucky to be alive.
I’ve seen other stupid “prank” videos that easily could have resulted in the prankster being justifiably shot. They didn’t even have weapons but their threatening behavior towards people on a dark street would have been enough.
Reminds of Indiana Jones and the ISIS/L terrorist who comes with his sword. BANG. No more terrorism.
I might well have drawn and fired, especially were I with my family. A suicidally outlandish “prank.”
Probably is fake. But if not, he’s lucky no one emptied on him.
Am i wrong or did this idiot tell the authorities where to find him?
I get the feeling a lot of these prank things are staged.
Because on some, somebody would definitely have died due to gross stupidity.
Also notice the guy carrying the gun checks the weapon in his waist as he walks down the street.
Good point.
Several years ago there was a mall shooting near us. A CCW carrier went running to the sounds of shots. When he saw the guy he pointed his pistol and shouted “Stop or I’ll shoot!” The gunman shot first, and the guy is now paralyzed.
The guy was a hero though - the gunman got scared and ran into a storage room and the cops got him.
Like I tell my kids “Don’t be talking when you should be shooting.” I’m guessing that’s a Dirty Harry line or something.
Ability- rifle
Opportunity- held in firing position pointed at you
Jeopardy- a rifle is pointed at you by a hooded assailant.
Antone who fired on him would walk free.
I’m of that mind too: this is staged clickbait designed to get folks like us to watch, spread it around to our friends to watch and run up their hit counters.
Fake. But good publicity.
I like the guy that ditched the female walking beside him. Just took off running without her.
I suspect his name is now “spanky.”
Like I tell my kids Dont be talking when you should be shooting. Im guessing thats a Dirty Harry line or something.
[Tuco is in a bubble bath. The One Armed Man enters the room]
One Armed Man: I've been looking for you for 8 months. Whenever I should have had a gun in my right hand, I thought of you. Now I find you in exactly the position that suits me. I had lots of time to learn to shoot with my left.
[Tuco kills him with the gun he has hidden in the foam]
Tuco: When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk.
