That’s a fact that should be realized. What’s also important is that this is generations in the past, it’s not like a person owns slaves now. Do people really want to get irrational enough to blame someone for what happened to their however many greats grandparents? Get a life, and move on.

No they don't! Most people's ancestors came to this country after slavery was done away with and there aren't enough descendants of those who did, to intermarry with those folks whose ancestors came after the end of the Civil War!

Keep in mind, most ethnic groups, kept pretty much to themselves ( re intermarriage ), for quite some time.

Not my ancestors. They came from Denmark in 1850 straight across the plains to Utah. Too busy running from mobs of people who did own slaves to get any of their own.
