Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush has joined Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid in calling for Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to abandon his pre-election promise to fight President Obamas executive amnesty by holding a vote to confirm U.S. Attorney Loretta Lynch as Attorney General.
I think that presidents have the right to pick their team, Bush said in New Hampshire at an event with about 95 voters and a horde of media, according to Time Magazines Zeke Miller.
The longer it takes to confirm her, the longer Eric Holder stays as Attorney General, Bush said, echoing a talking point that Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) has used to justify his planned vote for Lyncheven though a vote for her is a vote for Obamas executive amnesty.
Bushs move comes as hes lost his frontrunner statusdespite all the money hes raking inin the 2016 GOP primary to Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, who opposes Lynchs nomination and now leads Bush in polls in all three early primary states.
Reid, appearing on Rachel Maddows MSNBC program on Thursday, alsolike Bushcalled for Senate Republicans to confirm Lynch immediately.

Perfect reasons as to why the ole boy should NOT be the president.
Either Jeb is completely out of his depth, or he’s honestly cracking up. He’s about to turn his whole family into a laughingstock.
I think it’s time for Poppy and Barbara to sit their boy down and have a talk with him, before he destroys what little is left of their family legacy.
Probably not, but you can bet that Poppy and Dubya do, and so do lots of Jeb's donors.
I can almost guarantee you that some of his top advisers and supporters will bail from his clown camp over all his wackadoodle statements and positions.
I'm beginning to think something is seriously wrong with Jeb. He seems totally lost - like he doesn't even know what planet he's on. It's getting scary.
More and more, Jeb's performance looks like some sort of psychodrama about a man who slowly loses his mind on the world stage.
I almost don't want to look.
With her fading due to scandal after scandal, Jebi would be the perfect choice for the head of the ticket. She could be his VP choice.
Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, Hillary's running mate for POTUS, has joined Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid in calling for Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to abandon his pre-election promise to fight President Obamas executive amnesty by holding a vote to confirm U.S. Attorney Loretta Lynch as Attorney General.
People have a right to live, too.
See Terri Schiavo.
...just what I was thinking Bush-Reid 2016
Sorry Bubble Boy, we are not sticking around to play scrabble with you. The world is on fire and our nation is under siege...stay in your hermetically protected world and leave the necessary dirty work that needs to be done, to strong men and women who are up to the task.
When Tokyo Rove pushes this puke on us that will cinch the WH for the Dems that will be O,Mallet.
You are correct but it seems that our politicians are using some sort of chaos theory of government to shield themselves. I remember William Buckley wrote about a time when he was in the CIA. He was in on a meeting with the CIA director and others, and the Director wanted gin up a story for the press to explain why a particular operative could not make a scheduled appearance because he was ill. One young guy suggested that why not just tell the truth. Buckley wrote about the fatherly, ironic smile the Director bestowed on the naive officer. The Director did not want anything to do with putting out something that was true because it would give enemies a baseline in order to evaluate anything else.
Can you imagine the soul-searching if we applied rigorous standards of truth telling to matters such as the effectiveness of the war on drugs, the effectiveness of the war on poverty, the effectiveness of our educational system? Can you imagine the renting of rainments and the gnashing of teeth across the fruited plain if we actually had a truthful "discussion about race" so piously desired by the Attorney General?
