Michelle Bachmann: Obama's poor relationship with Israel will bring the return of Jesus [Hosea 2:7]
Jerusalem Post ^ | 04/15/2015 | ARIEL COHEN

Posted on 04/15/2015 11:25:26 AM PDT by Jan_Sobieski

Former Republican Congresswoman Michele Bachmann stated that President Barack Obama’s handling of the Iranian nuclear deal is a symbol of the coming of the end of times and the “imminent” return of Jesus Christ, during a recent radio interview.

Bachmann explained that if Obama and the United States turn their back on Israel, this would bring severe “curses” upon the United States, similar to those seen in the end of days.

But, Bachmann is not afraid of the end of days, rather she says that “these are the most exciting days in history” because nothing is more important than the return of Jesus Christ.

“We need to be so on fire right now about the things of Christ and the things of God, that needs to occupy our time and our thoughts virtually from morning to night because we have very little time — in my opinion — left before the second return of Christ. That’s good news!” the former congresswoman said. “The world is embracing degeneracy, but what that also tells us as we look at what the world is doing that they’re going according to God’s time clock. Pastors, preach it from the pulpit!”

“If we actually turn our back on Israel as we have seen Barack Obama do today, if that happens then I think we will see a scale and a level of push back in the United States, negative consequences,” Bachmann told Understanding the Times radio host Jan Markell on Sunday. “I don’t know what they are, but I believe that the Bible is true. And believe what the Bible says is that our nation and the people of our nation will reap a whirlwind, and we could see economic disasters, natural disasters...”

If you’re talking about the Jews ... yeah!

Actually, the Presbyterians are throwing their own wrenches into their ‘works.’

With all due respect, as an ordained Christian minister it is my humble opinion that Christians spend far too much time trying to predict Jesus’ return rather than fulfilling the Great Commission and sharing the gospel. I doubt Jesus will care if you correctly predicted His return but did nothing to introduce the lost to Him.

Obviously you do not know the word of God!

It's not about “Predicting” his return. He has demanded that we “Watch” for his coming in the cloud.

Revelation 3:3

“Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.”

He told us what day he is coming for us, but not what year.

That is why we must watch.

Churchianity is blind to the word of God; that is why he demanded that we "come out of her."

Which passage are you talking about...this one?

Matthew 24: 32 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 33 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door.

34 I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.

Springs do dry up, or get cut off in quakes, etc.

There is zero question about the exact site of Solomon’s holy of holies. The stone slab of the elevator that hid the ark is in plain view.

Anyway, you are correct that Yeshua’s temple will not be built by men seeking to ‘hurry’ the Lord.

You are correct, the generation that “Sees all these things” that he spoke of is the one that shall not pass, not the generation to whom he first delivered the prophecy.

Gotcha.

Being a Catholic, I don’t believe in the Millennium.

How much of scripture is prophecy and how much talked about the end times? Do you really think we can talk about His return without introducing who He is?

I also am an minister with a seminary education. In all my time on Freerepublic, I have seen only one poster try to offer a date for Christ's return and many people corrected him for this error. I am a volunteer US Military Chaplain and have outreaches in my church and in the community to reach youth with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

It greatly offends me when a people you, Rick Warren, Joel Osteen, or any other smug "so-called" Christian Minister rebukes me for calling people to "watch and pray". You think I am going to let you or any other "social gospel" hireling shame me into not proclaiming the return of Jesus Christ to judge the world in righteousness?

Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always * *, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass , and to stand before the Son of man.

I believe you are splitting hairs and trying to create a false dichotomy between Jews (Hebrews from Judah) and Israel (dispersed Hebrews from 10 tribes). Judah is mentioned throughout Hosea in the context when Judah and Israel, are back together (today!), similar to Ezekiel 37:

Ezekiel 37:16 Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions: 17 And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.

Judah is not the divorced wife!

Ephraiam is.

Bringing Ephraim to Yeshua was the sole mission of all of the disciples and apostles. That is said plainly by Yeshua in Matthew 15:24

“But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”

Judah was never part of “The House of Israel.” Judah was blinded specifically so that their lost cousins could be saved.

Some of that effort took place while the apostles were alive, but the majority of it is happening right now, and demonstrating why Judah had to be blinded for that to happen.

Judah is presently the only part of Israel that is following the most important part of the Father's wishes: The appointed times (Feasts) that teach us how and when to watch for his prophetic events. Without understanding and following those important prophetic “shadow pictures” of coming events, one cannot avoid the tribulation in the place that Yehova is preparing for that purpose, in his land.

Without the blinding of Judah, the knowledge would have been lost due to the departure of most of “christianity” from Yeshua’s Way in the fourth century and onward to the present.

Today, most of “The House of Israel” doesn't even know who they are. Judah is not of The House of Israel, and none of the House of Israel are Jews. Together, they are the “Two Sticks” of the prophets. That is not a dichotomy, it is the word of God. The House of Israel are the dominant nations of the western world. That is what Joseph prophesied in Genesis 48 and 49. Part of the House of Israel is hidden in all of the nations of the world

Nor, apparently, any other part of the word of God.

.
Yehova’s rest will not be for unbelievers. Read the epistle to the Hebrews.

The only reason you are aware that the Scriptures are the Word of God is that the Catholic Church teaches that they are.

That is the most absurd statement I’ve seen all day.

All of the scriptures were well established 200 years before the first catholic came along.

Catholicism is the destruction of the Way of Yeshua.

It is the broad path to destruction.

The Catholic Church began to exist on Pentecost, shortly after the Ascension.

The entire New Testament was written by Catholics, and it was the Catholic Church that eventually defined which writings were inspired Scripture.
