Talk about blaming the victims!
Outrage is growing over a Kentucky judge who let a home invader who robbed a family at gunpoint off with probation after a openly criticizing the victims for letting their child be afraid of black men because of the crime.
Judge Olu Stevens of the Jefferson Circuit Court appeared even more offended by the victim impact statements offered by the family who was robbed than he was by the fact that a crime had been committed at all.

Judge Olu is in denial that when an armed man of any color, yes, even a black thug, forces his way into a home that it will leave a permanent memory in all of the victims, including a child.
The ‘black culture’ is becoming the movie version of the KKK that they so protest.
His statement is so unbelievably ignorant. When my son was that age he had a bad experience with a chocolate lab. For the next two years he was terrified of black/dark brown dogs and only dark dogs. Fears from experience aren’t coached into kids.
Parents can’t control how three year old children see the world.
Of all the things I got scared of as a child, there was a “Whirleybirds” episode where a gorilla escaped and traveled across the countryside.
I had nightmares about gorillas for years. My Grandparents and brother tried to console me. It didn’t work.
Just one of those nightmares consisted of hundreds of gorillas swarming our farm-house out of the woods across the dirt road.
We happened to live in countryside that looked like the scenes from the program.
Kids are irrational. They do stupid things. I spent months laying in bed going to sleep at night with my back to one side of the bed, certain gorillas were on the other side waiting to pounce. After a few months the gorillas changed sides and I fell asleep facing the other direction.
This judge is a fool.
That little girl has every right to feel the way she does. Later in life she’ll grow out of it.
Could it be that over half of all violent crimes are committed by blacks?

Sounds like a ‘law abiding Citizen’ needs to pay the judge and the perp a visit.

Back in the late 1950s and early 1960s, when I was a kid and liked to watch Italian made Greek era movies on TV, I learned that the guy with the goatee beard was always the BAD GUY!
Today I still look with a jaundiced eye at people with goatees.
Now, what would make a kid scared of people today? wondering, wondering!

Not Likely, And I wouldn’t blame her in the least bit. Myself and most of my friends never got over forced desegregation from the early 70’s. Funny thing is we had black people in our neighborhood but they were normal middle class folks just like us, and we had NO Problems. But they decide to bus a whole bunch of Criminal, Gang Banger, Thugs that were black to our schools.
