Back in the late 1950s and early 1960s, when I was a kid and liked to watch Italian made Greek era movies on TV, I learned that the guy with the goatee beard was always the BAD GUY!

Today I still look with a jaundiced eye at people with goatees.

Now, what would make a kid scared of people today? wondering, wondering!

Damn near every crime show in the 70s and 80s had blond-haired villains. Almost all of those actors bleached, of course.
