'Everyday Americans need a champion': Wealthy Hillary Clinton finally enters formal race to be president with video telling middle class voters 'the deck is still stacked in favor of those at the top' of the economy

Hillary Rodham Clinton is running for president, leaning on a message of middle-class rescue and claims that America's economy is 'still stacked in favor of those at the top,' according to a campaign video that went online Sunday afternoon.

'I'm getting ready to do something,' Clinton says in the brief ad, following a series of clips of ordinary-looking Americans describing what they're 'getting ready' for.

'I'm running for president,' she says.

'Everyday Americans need a champion, and I want to be that champion.'

That message is a daring one, given Clinton's wealth. When she left the U.S. State Department in 2013, her financial disclosure report showed that her combined net worth with her husband was between $5.2 and $25.5 million. Millions more rolled in when she published her memoirs.

She famously claimed last year that she and former president Bill Clinton were 'dead broke' whenthey left the White House in 2001 – when they moved into a palatial home in a tree-lined New York City suburb.

Hillary's going to do to white people what democrats do to black people.

She'll ‘feel everyone’s pain’... and ‘hear their anguish’. Empathizing makes folks feel understood... and it allows cynical politicians to keep her ‘solutions’ to themeselves.

Listen to Bloomberg talk - he loves the downtrodden - cares about the middle class. Gets elected and one of his solutions is to outlaw ‘ Big Gulp’ size sodas.

The press needs to vet Hillary... no one knows how she wants to accomplish her 'progressiveness'...

This could put big pressure on the GOP to have a woman and/or minority on the ticket. If Hillary gets the nomination, and especially if she picks a minority such as Castro HUD Secretary as her running mate, the GOP will be lambasted if there are two white men on the GOP ticket.

Unfair as it is, Ted Cruz is not considered Latino by the liberals or the media. Which means someone such as Governor Susana Martinez of New Mexico, or Governor Nikki Haley of South Carolina, would be strong choices as running mates for whoever wins the GOP pres. nomination.

Right. Typical leftist victim hood mindset.

Some people do need a champion. But thats not the job of
POTUS. That job is to uphold the Constitution and assure
the defense of the country. Too bad the majority of this
country does not understand that. They want to FEEL good
and be promised they’ll be taken care of.

Yes, this makes sense. She hasn’t lived without a support staff for over twenty year and makes more for a one hour speech than the beloved 99% makes in a year. Champion of the middle class indeed.

I’ve taken to imagining the Dowager Countess from Downton Abbey giving these same banalities. I’m sure it would be somehow sexist to point out that they are approximately the same age.

Clinton advisers have consulted a famous German economist and have come up with a very stirring campaign slogan. It may resonate with many “life isn’t fair” Americans.

Their powerful slogan is:

“From each according to his ability, to each according to his need”

Obama’s first win was sort of understandable, the black messiah thing. Oh and he was endorsed by his Republican opponent too.

But win #2 with $4 gas, 13% unemployment, trillion dollar deficits, surging food prices, and Benghazi really made me wonder if we’ll ever see a non-Democrat POTUS again in my lifetime.

Of course - Thomas wasn't blasck enough, Palin and Bachmann weren't female enough, etc. for liberals. But think the American people will have no problem considering Cruz a latino.

Whomever is chosen as VP had better be a solid conservative - they'll be next in line. Bush was Reagan's biggest mistake.

Hillary is the champion of the rich 1%rs, the Saudis, the Chinese and the Wall St bankers.

How is she going to rebrand herself? She’s a billionaire. She despises the “little People (Middle Class).

Gotta love it. Her campaign is supposedly aimed at "the middle class" and who does it feature--blacks, homosexuals, Hispanics, single women, a lone white man slogging it out in a warehouse somewhere as a nod to the labor vote. Not much sign of the middle class here. I wonder of this idiot even knows what the term means.
