The Canadian government has not shared US President Barack Obamas enthusiasm over the deal reached with Iran over its nuclear program last Thursday, by which the Islamic regime continues enriching uranium at reduced levels in exchange for the removal of sanctions.
Canadian Foreign Minister Rob Nicholson responded to the deal, warning that the Islamic regime may still be able to obtain a nuclear weapon even with the agreement.
We have to make every possible diplomatic effort to ensure that Iran will never be able to achieve the ability to develop a nuclear weapon, said Nicholson, noting such a development could spark a nuclear arms race in the Middle East.

Another one reminding Obama that capitulation is not the same as mak(ing) every diplomatic effort.

Misleading headline- no official statements have been issued about the sanctions.

America, with its corrupt DO"J", its Islamic "US" State Dept,
and its White Mosque which idolizes Hitler, may not survive;
but Canada apparently will.
Those who jumped on 911 would not recognize Islamic America
that uses US taxpayer money for slaves, rape, terror rockets,
and crucifixion.

No, the world did not have non-stop orgasms when a progressive-liberal occupied the White House. The science is settled. Thus endeth the lesson.

Never before has a country repeatedly declared its goal was death to America, taken clear actions to achieve that aim, and
suffered no serious consequences for its actions. The reason for this is Irans diplomatic brilliance. They have conditioned
successive administrations as easily as Pavlov: They hint at diplomacy, and get a free pass for abusing and murdering Americans.

FWIW, Canada is the ONLY nation that has NEVER voted against Israel at the UN on anything. In the past, even the US has.
PM Harper, being an Evangelical Christian, is not likely to vote against Israel.

Thank you, Canada. At least you’re sane.

As a Canadian, can you tell me if the NDP is going to become an even bigger problem up there in the next decade? I love Canada, and would happily move there at some point (given my politics, likely Alberta), but not if the NDP gets any kind of federal power.

I don't think so. They've only once came in second in an election, in 2011. 'Smilin'
Jerk Jack' Layton of the 'dippers got them there because he portrayed himself as an 'honest broker'. Since his death, Thomas Mulcair has been their leader and the party is majority Quebec French, taking voters from the separatist Bloc Quebecois. I believe it happened also because the Liberals imported Professor Michael Ignatieff from 'Hawvawd' University. Though born in Canada, he had spent the majority of his life abroad. THAT did not go over well with voters! In addition, his speaking style was as flat as a three day opened bottle of Perier water! (We are talking Professor Ignatieff, after all!). 50,000 volts could not have given his speechifying any life.
The 'dippers generally poll third behind the Conservatives andLieberals, both %wise in polls, and in seats during an election. In the upcoming election in the Fall, the question is, how much will the media try to recreate 'Trudeaumania', like they did with Justin's dad in 1968? In the two years as leader of the Liberals, he's shown himself to be somewhat inept, even to the sycophantic CBC, so short of a devilish miracle, he won't poll numbers like his dad in '68.
I suspect the next government will be a minority however, IF the press and public is incensed enough by O'Venal's former election team of AMERICANS helping the Liberals and 'Dippers, there is a possibility of a Conservative majority. For many lefties in Canada, they define their nationality as NOT being American, so the news that the US is interfering in their election for the Liberals and NDP no less, may cause enough of them to swallow hard and vote Conservative, though many lefties' heads will explode!
